These are Permaseal units for anyone that has worked with headlights before know very well Permaseal Units from HELLA especially is a huge pain in the butt to open some cut open the casing with the lens and some cut off the lens and then open the lights... for some like me that doesn't like that idea battles to get the lens off the casing while still keeping the seal chamber in good shape for when you want to seal them back up again with an butly sealant. I have dealt with an few Permaseal units my most difficult was W212 Mercedes benz 💀 struggled a few hours to get them open to save the lens and casing I found with Permaseal units its not really that much of an issue that it's the sealant you have to deal with but so what more the type of glue HELLA®️ uses for the rubber sealer to stick to the casing you will need a good amount of heat to open up these lights and ALOT of patients to not break the lens or casing other sealants considered permaseal is childs play compared to what HELLA®️ got going for them GOOD LUCK

yeah it is glue. It is hard to separate the headlight lens cover. A heat gun is needed, an oven is better. Our other videos explain how to separate, please refer. But we recommend you can work with a local repair studio.
