@felix i made a small dent on the inside of the freezer with the screw driver - is this going to cause a major issue i covered with with black gorilla duck tape - it is a small dent - i am very worried - its like a small hole

Thanks, Felix! It’s such a pain when you’re trying to find an alternative and RUclips just keeps showing you the same technique (in my case it kept showing something with the zip ties and two people) I have a kind of clamp thing that I’m going to try with the same technique you did.

Perfect! Best video on the subject. In my case, it turned out to be the black micro switch that your point out towards the end of the video. Drenched in rubbing alcohol, operating a few times with a sharp knife because screwdriver was too big to get in there and work like a charm. Save two hundred and 50 bucks from the repair man.

Hi Felix, I replaced the two sensors as per your video. Thanks 🙏 i do not see an error code and I opened the back cover after three days to inspect and don't see any ice build up but do see some frozen drops on some of the pipes. Is that normal?

December 2024! Thanks Felix!!! I have a ZDP364NDPSS model year 2009. Perfect range since new. Last week, F9. Watched your video. Unplugged appliance. Back panel screws removed. Saw the sail switch with some light brown stain on it. Used acetone to clean it then eyeballed the sail to hopefully catch the air being fanned upward. Plugged back in. Set oven to 300. Oven warmed up passed 225F where it last threw the F9 code. It continued to 300F without a problem. Set it to 400F for convection. Oven kept warming. All the way to 400F. Problem solved. Thanks again Felix!!! You're still the only one sharing this correct info. Merry Christmas!!!

Hi, Great video.... Any suggestions regarding an intermittent fault with my Hob, which is exactly the same as the one in the Video! The Igniter Clicks and the gas ignites but then goes out after 5 seconds? This can happen sometimes on all 4 burners and then the next day all the hobs work fine? Very strange? Have cleaned all the burners and the igniter extensively, have also put a pin through every hole in the burner in case any food stuffs have clogged the hole, they are all clear and pristine? Is there another electrical issue with this Hob! I dont want to get the service engineer in unless I have too as its a complete rip of here in the Uk for what they will charge me? Any help would be greatly appreciated? Thanks Again Adam

Hey Felix, thanks for the video. I have an older R304 range that i got for a steal. One of the burners continuously clicks. I have a 4 burner ignitor on the back of the unit. Going to try the alcohol clean on the knob switch today and see what's what.

You nailed this, exactly right. Thank you for your video. Same story on the newer Cafe ranges. Mine was throwing F9 but not consistently, and the door lock was working fine on a test run of self-clean mode. I was headed to the main control board when I found your video. Grease/dust on that reed switch PCB is no bueno. Shame on GE for not protecting that card, better. Anyway, my model is CGY366P2M1S1 which seems to share a ton of components with that Monogram you repaired. Thanks again for taking the time to post this video; very good information.

how much does this cost to fix?

I have a Blomberg fridge/freezer Model No: D70420NLU. It makes Ice but it clicks.......loudly.......for about 45 seconds......then it will rotate. It seems it does this every time it is froze. It works but it is very loud. Anyone have any experience with the cause/repair for this condition? Thanks in advance

Vise grips and 2 people. Most online tutorials show one fellow and he does it easily. Maybe the spring was stretched ? Anyway, good hint here and it works.

hi, thanks , much appreciated, i had to put a longer spanner in the vice, used two ties on one end - they kept snapping - stretched the spring with vice grips on the wire then tie the spring on the other end, worked.. cheers.

Tried doing the inner clamp that way, when searching for help I’m trying to do the inner clamp instead of the outer clamp.

I have a Wolf df366. The display got extremely dim. I think it's the ECH or just the board. Do you have any videos that show the steps to test with meter ? I accesses the ECH and the board has no obvious shorts. Thanks . This video i great I had the spark issue and fixed it with this video.

I have the Blomberg FNT9673P . anyone know where to locate the fan please? it is nowhere inside the freezer. there is a conmpartment on top of the freezer and when i take the cover off, thereis only a circuit board. Any help appreciated thanks

My 361 side by side is 35 years old......Los t a condenser fan early in its life....a 9W GE unit bearing motor for 29.95.....It's been cleaned regularly. Only last year replaced ice machine solenoid....It's a power hog, and runs a lot, charge is ok.....I've thought of updating, but not for the junk out there today. Id love to find/retro a timer to avoid 3 defrosts a day. Im an old bachelor and not opening doors often.....I paid $1850 for it in "87", they are 10 grand now......nope!
