They actually provide almost ALLLL PARTS GOING BACK AS FAR AS 1980S UNITS.. I REALLY LIKE THAT but at 10k$ each thats the least we expect...however in 2008 some diagnostic tool are required..like in 2007 they released A PALM PILOT TOOL!!!! TO DIAGNOSE.. but i will be showing work arounds
They Also have a made to order option on many discontinued parts. They literally make parts from scratch when back ordered in 80%of the cases..unlike GE AND WHIRLPOOL WHICH pitch in to lobby against right to repair
And 1 good thing..if they have item that are no stock sometimes they provide a MADE TO ORDER option and will make it from scratch...in 2008 till now new units are more difficult and have wifi and diagnostic tool only for certified techs....however i will be showing different work arounds
I like work arounds! I have a 2007 ge profile refrigerator, in about year 4 the motherboard had a problem and the coil fan wouldn't turn on even though 12v was getting to the fan and the fan worked if tested separately... Instead of paying $100 for a computer board I connected a cheap 12v computer fan from an old computer. Has been working great for 12+years.
@@somedudeRyan thats exactly what i try to do!!!.theres a viking refrigerator that sells an orion 24v dc fan motor for 180 dollars that was on Backorder for 6 months.. i went str8 to a a website louis mentioned in passing digikey or the other one and found the fan "10 for 6dollars each"...i then started soldering them to a proprietary connector from " viking refrigerator "..and i install those to get peoples refrigerator back in action..another 10 thousand dollar refrigerator company...its basically an OEM repair..but other techs or viking certified would Not dare ACTUALLY fix the refrigerator.
Im just glad they offer replacement parts. Good job, I'll have to bring out my Old screwdrivers to use as wedges.

Too bad they can't just make reliable appliances anymore. Even the expensive ones
Between 1980 and 2007 was the sweeet spot..but at 7000 to 15000$ for a refrigerator..they are supposed too...in 2008 to present..alot of issues!!
