How short after replacement did u get it...if you read the comments some people will turn it on and wait and it goes away ...or run it for a little and cut the power for 20 min after it was running...if you find the heater wires I've seen regular heaters at 22 ohm or 33 ohm these I am not sure I feel like any ohm reading that's not infinite should be good

@felix i made a small dent on the inside of the freezer with the screw driver - is this going to cause a major issue i covered with with black gorilla duck tape - it is a small dent - i am very worried - its like a small hole

Hi. So i DONT have the error, but i do have the ice build up at the bottom. I believe there may also be a build up at the back of that panel because it looks bloated like a belly. Any advice?
Hi Felix, I replaced the two sensors as per your video. Thanks 🙏 i do not see an error code and I opened the back cover after three days to inspect and don't see any ice build up but do see some frozen drops on some of the pipes. Is that normal?

Defrost sensor and evap senor..if i were you, just because encompass parts..thier #1 parts seller sucks..,,, i would call them and then read off the numbers on the sticker on the side of the refrigerator section..usually starts with brfb#### ...ask for all 3 or 4 sensor in freezer and match them up to the ones in the video...or in that general area..then return or keep the other...its about 5$ each... encompass. Com i believe or parts town. Com. Let me know if that helps

My issue is When I open the fridge I get a flashing error on the display panel it shows 40 (f) : 10 (d) then flashes to E : 4. With the red triangle & exclamation mark ❕🔺 and was beeping. I managed to turn off the alarm by holding the alarm button. Defrosted my freezer fully and I tried to take the small clip off that you showed had a zap strap in your video and one side of the clip snapped but managed to get it to still sit on snug. I am just going to leave and see if it eventually goes away. I red online it can go away. If it doesn’t in a couple days I will try to again and order the parts from the site you suggested. How long does it take to arrive? I find it a pretty tight area to work in pulling the cords around the sharp areas and I don’t want the pipes to open up like you mentioned in the video. Mine is a built in fridge. Really appreciate your response Felix!

From what I see the heater looks good and e4 should dissapear after a couple cycles .there was a way to tap in diagnostic mode but I lost the site..email me I'll try to find it...Nd you can flash the board....indont think with good heater and new sensor it will ice up again...if it does its the board....schematics are hard to find for this...I used another models info once and guess how to get into diagnostic..I'll try to send u it..just let it run for a couple days....other comments had the same issue and it dissapeared...

Hi Felix, when I powered the fridge back on the freezer fan wouldn’t spin. Nothing seems to be blocking it. Before defrosting the fridge the fan was working. Any idea what it could be ? Or does it take a few minutes for the fan to kick in ?
Hello Felix - I swapped the two sensor cables with the new ones today. Turned off fridge, turned off power supply to the fridge from the switch board. Turned back on. The error is still there - Pls Help!!!

Did you just reboot it .. i recommend shut off the refrigerator first..hit breaker for 15 min..then breaker on ..then turn on....make sure both connectors were pluged in good and firmly...it will probably go back to. Normal by tomorrow if not let me know

Yes, I cut the power from breaker while fridge was ON and I didn't restore it for several hours (maybe 5?) and it did reset. Purrs like an error free kitten now (after your fix, thanks).
Not easy you need to.find the service manual I lost it and even with manual I'm not sure...I think when you turn it on and off it starts in defrost sometimes. Usually I replace sensors after a manual defrost and in a few days it refreshes the code
@@pavelmedvedev358 probably the heater is OK usually sensor fails and back when I made the video I couldn't figure out which was which so I just always do both on top.
@@pavelmedvedev358 the resistance depends on the temp of the sensor and I don't know the parameters of those thermistor but in a warm cup and an ice cup you can measure the ohm but i dont have clue what temp equals which ohm...could be out of range when in the extreme temps. No idea

taping it up is ok. but if the shelf part that holds the shelf broke or popped then becareful it does not let the shelf/drawer hang and keep door open

how did you defrost? steamer or blowdryer.....a few drops ok....make sure door is closed and sealed well no gaps in rubber seal

The freezer for me works after defrosting but the regular fridge doesn't get cold what would be the issue
there should be a magnet or a white strip on top of refrigerator door that turns on fan....or give it 24 hrs...also needs to defrost fullllly

Additional code ...maybe the thermistor was on the wrong pipes or the code will dissapear on it its own over a day or so once running properly

turns out, it didnt reset because of power cut but simply time elapsed. So turn off and on, then ignore error, should clear in 3 days
What is the model no. for the defrost sensors?
Best bet is to type you model number into encompass parts . Com and search..because it could be different
