I'm 58 years old and I remember how flying was once fun and exciting. I used to look forward to the flight and as soon as the plane landed, I didn't care about the rest of the vacation. There was a time when flying was such a special occasion, that you dressed up and you had to be on your best behavior. Although the food was lousy, you at least got served a meal and some airlines had inflight entertainment. Another airline that was based in a tropical area, had their flight attendants do an inflight fashion show; no kidding. I miss those days. When deregulation was enacted, the glory days of flying were numbered. As far as the crying babies and rambunctious kids, why can't the airplane manufacturers build a play area somewhere on the plane and then the airline can assign some of their flight attendants to supervise; sort of like an inflight daycare center. Those of us who are parents, know that babies often cry on airplanes because the cabin pressure hurts their ears. On one flight that I took, the mother had the good sense to put ear muffs on her baby. The other kids; it's up to the parents to tell them to be quiet and behave. Then again, some of the adults are just as spoiled.

An excellent driving tour. Didn't realize though that The Caymans had such a relatively intense car culture. Cars everywhere, it seemed. For some reason, I thought the island might be more walkable. Saw just a couple of people walking. Don't recall seeing any bikes or scooters. Sort of gives off a rather lonely vibe being inside a car so much, but many parts of the planet seem headed in that direction.

Coming into Canberra AUS - is much like this, It's always bumpy due to the mountain ranges and the warmer air.. Always makes for an interesting arrival...

Great video and flight review! Only error was the type of aircraft you flew on. N565AS is a B737-800, not a -900ER. They can be easily confused though as the only difference is a slightly longer fuselage.

I love Hawaiian Airlines. My first flight with them was Hilo to Honolulu on their island hopper 717 and then the inaugural Honolulu to Austin flight on their A330-200 and that was a wonderful flight

I love the the flight attendant who said we're off the ground and on our way. I liked it also when he said you never know when the plane is going to dance the hula.

#1 tip living in Cayman is avoid getting your car repaired at GT Automotive - they are the biggest crooks on island charging 5-6 times more than what a part is worth i.e. $850 for a part worth $175 elsewhere on island!

Watching this video post-covid, dreaming of the time I can be on a plane again. This is as close as I'm going to get for now, great video, the captain is awesome and I loved Maui when I was there last.

Why is everyone so triggered at people talking lol. Honestly the only thing I was triggered at was crying babies. Honestly babies shouldn't be on flights as they won't remember the trip they went on and flying is very stressful for babies.

8:56 my beloved little Miata is followed! Bought the car early June 2017, by the looks of it this was filmed just before that as I recognize the earlier owner. Car bounces a lot, one the first things I did put some new springs on it. Also a little appearance at 15:55 just near the condo I was living at. Good memories....
