ME2 and ME3 sadly don't truly have that charm, but the idea of Reapers being simply a reflection of the Leviathans makes up for it. I remember always hearing about Halo, and wanting to play, but never was able to. In late august 2015 I got my Xbox One, and the second game I purchased was Master Chief Collection, and throught out the mont of september, I was finally able to play Halo, and played all the campaigs back to back. Loved all the Bungie games. Halo 4 was a bit of a mix bag, because the whole side plot was confusing and, honestly, I did not care about it. All I cared about was Chief and Cortana. But even though Halo 4 didn't resonste much with me, I was interested to see were Halo was going to, and on october 27th, 2015, I woke up really early to go the mall, and buy a Halo 5 copy. I played the whole thing. What a disspointment that was. Not only it did not follow the good things Halo 4 was building to, but it also pushed Chief to the side in a favor of a character I did not know, or cared about. Locke is a cool character, but not to the point of turning Chief into a side character. And the plot is not friendly for those who just play the games. When the game began, I was like "Who is this Locke and Osiris team ? Only know Buck .Who are this other Spartans, fighting along side Chief ?". Then someone told me all of that came from some expand universe content, I should consume if I want to understand Halo 5's plot proprely. I was like" Not going to happen, buddy." Halo 5 was such a big disappointment, that till this day, I haven't played Halo Infinite, and now that I know they abandonned that whole cliffhanger 5 built, I will not play it. I'm just gonna play the Bungie games, for the 200th time. Those are masterpieces.

I do feel like you get a better ending by saving Nightcrawler. Besides Jean always comes back from the dead, even in the ending. Also if you do the side missions from the disks you collect you'll find yourself significantly over leveled even with constantly swapping characters. Also some of the continuity errors you mention are not really continuity errors if you are playing the game with out cheats to unlock all the characters. IE To unlock silver surfer in a normal playthrough you have to play all the side missions.

I rarely comment but I gotta say, you reminded me of that spark that the Naruto series ignited in me. Such nostalgia and anticipation when it came to the show and especially towards Naruto's growth. From what I've seen in Boruto so far, it just doesn't have the same energy. Maybe it's because Boruto, in early episodes, does not know pain to Naruto's extent and maybe that was a driving factor for my continuous support of Naruto *sigh* What a great show Naruto 💛

So many fandoms have made it their mission to downplay the quality of Naruto and it's legit sad. Even more so considering how extremely well-written and influential the series is.

I find it neat that humans actually have an easier time being on… well, the human side unlike WH40k where there are an abundant of ways a person can get corrupted to join Chaos. Even the tiniest bit of virtue remaining will cause one to burst into flames near the Gates of Hell. While sinners at least have a chance to one way or another redeem themselves among the Holy forces of man.
