    Are these good stretches to do before a back/bicep routine in the gym?

    • @youfixpain
      @youfixpain 3 дня назад

      Great question! 🙌 These stretches can definitely help warm up your muscles before a back and bicep routine. Stretching before a workout helps increase blood flow and mobility, reducing the risk of injury and improving performance. 💪 Just be sure to pair them with dynamic movements to fully activate those muscles for lifting. If you need more specific warm-up tips for your routine, feel free to ask-I’m here to help you get the most out of your workouts!

      I'm really glad to hear the first exercise brought you immediate relief! Bicep tendonitis can definitely sneak up on us, especially when we’re pushing through workouts thinking it’s just regular muscle soreness. It's great that you're listening to your body now. Remember, consistency with these kinds of mobility and rehab exercises is key to long-term recovery, so keep incorporating them into your routine. Also, it might be worth considering a slight adjustment in your training to avoid overloading your tendons while they heal. Strengthening the surrounding muscles and improving shoulder stability can make a big difference, too. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more tips. Wishing you a speedy recovery and pain-free gains!

    Hello Sir, I am from Varanasi, India. I am quite impressed to see your video and suggestions. Sir, can you please do me a favor, I will be highly obliged to you. Sir, I slipped on water on 9th August'2024 and today is 7th September'2024. It's almost a month, I am totally on bed rest. Sir, initially I got an X-ray done which was normal, but still the pain persisted and then I was advised for MRI. Sir, the remarks of yhe MRI reports are asfollows:- 1. High grade partial thickness of medial patellofemoral ligament. Grade 1 MCL sprain with periligamentous soft tissue edema. 2. Moderate chondromalacia patellae. 3. Mucoid degeneration of ACL with subtle interstitial tear. 4. Mild knee joint effusion. Sir, I would be highly obliged if you kindly advise me the best treatment so that I can get back to my normal life as I am a housewife and have small kids. Even my husband is a kidney patient and hence my whole life is disturbed now. Sir, please do me the obligation. 🙏🙏

    • @youfixpain
      @youfixpain 8 дней назад

      Hello, and thank you for reaching out. I’m truly sorry to hear about your injury and the challenges you’re facing right now. I understand how difficult it can be, especially with your responsibilities as a housewife and caregiver. From the MRI results you’ve shared, it sounds like you have a few different issues contributing to your knee pain, including: -A high-grade partial tear of the medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL), which helps stabilize your kneecap. -A Grade 1 sprain of the medial collateral ligament (MCL), which might be causing some discomfort and swelling. -Moderate chondromalacia patellae, meaning the cartilage under your kneecap is wearing down. -A mild effusion, or fluid build-up in your knee. Based on these findings, here are a few general recommendations that might help, but I strongly recommend consulting with an orthopedic specialist to create a personalized treatment plan: Physical Therapy: Once the acute phase of injury (about 4-6 weeks) passes and your doctor gives the go-ahead, physical therapy will be key. Strengthening the muscles around your knee, especially the quadriceps, can help stabilize the kneecap and prevent further issues. Bracing: Your doctor may recommend a knee brace to help stabilize your kneecap and support your ligaments as they heal. Surgical Consideration: In some cases, surgery might be necessary for ligament tears, especially if your knee remains unstable or if physical therapy doesn’t bring the desired results. However, that decision would be based on your doctor’s evaluation and the severity of your symptoms. It sounds like you’re going through a lot right now, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to a healthcare professional for ongoing support. It’s essential to have someone guide you through this healing process. I hope you recover quickly and get back to your normal life soon. Wishing you strength and good health for both you and your family. Take care!

    You must not had bicep tendonitis before. Those wall stretches are more of an aggravation than anything. It is way easier to do those on a bench or chair. You get much more of a variety of stretches. So please teach that , not ridiculous wall stretches.

      Great question, and I’m glad you’re looking for a lasting solution! The exercises in this video are designed to provide relief, but for permanent pain relief, it's important to address the root causes-like muscle imbalances, overuse, and tendon health. For a more comprehensive solution, I recommend checking out my Bicep Pain Relief Course here 👉 bicep.youfixpain.com/. It’s designed to help you not only get immediate relief but also work on long-term recovery by strengthening your muscles and addressing the underlying causes of your pain. How many month that tendonis goes ?

    • @youfixpain
      @youfixpain 3 дня назад

      Great question! 🙌 Tendon healing time can vary depending on the severity of the injury and how well it’s treated. Mild cases of tendonitis can improve in a few weeks with proper care, while more severe cases might take several months to fully heal. 💪 The key is consistent stretching, strengthening, and allowing your body enough rest to recover. Let me know if you need more tips to speed up recovery!

    I have been diagnosed with chondromalacia in my right knee. Is it a bad idea to do pilates type rope pull down exercises for strengthning my glutes? They are not leg lifts they are leg pull downs.

    • @youfixpain
      @youfixpain 8 дней назад

      Thank you for your question! I'm sorry to hear about your chondromalacia diagnosis, but it's great that you're thinking about strengthening your glutes-it can actually help support your knees in the long run. As for doing Pilates-type leg pull-down exercises, it's not necessarily a bad idea, but there are a few things to keep in mind: Form and Technique: Proper form is critical to avoid putting unnecessary stress on your knee. Be sure that your knee remains stable and isn't taking on too much strain during the movement. Focus on slow, controlled movements, and engage your core to take pressure off your knee. Pain as a Guide: If the exercise causes knee pain, it's a sign that you should stop or modify it. It might help to reduce the resistance or change your range of motion to find a version of the exercise that doesn’t aggravate your knee. Glute Strengthening: Strengthening your glutes can be very beneficial for stabilizing your lower body and reducing knee strain. Just make sure that any exercises you choose don’t cause discomfort in your knee. Pilates can be great for core and lower body strength, but it's always best to ease into any new movements and check in with how your body feels. Hope that helps!

      I’m really glad to hear this helped you! Getting back to the gym after 5 years can be tough, and it's frustrating when pain holds you back. The good news is that you're on the right path now! As you ease back into your workouts, it’s important to gradually build up your strength, especially with your arms and tendons, to avoid overloading them. Make sure to mix in mobility and stretching exercises along with your strength training to keep your muscles and tendons balanced and flexible. Start slow, focus on form, and give your body time to adjust-it’ll pay off in the long run. If you need more tips or specific exercises as you progress, feel free to reach out. Keep up the great work, and I’m wishing you a strong and pain-free return to the gym!

    My pain was and is so bad that when i do ice baths i cant put my arms in the ice. It hurts that bad. Amazing how much you don’t feel the pain or inflammation till you touch the area.

      That sounds incredibly tough-I'm really sorry to hear you're going through that! 😓 It’s amazing how the body can mask pain until we apply pressure or cold like with ice baths. Ice can be intense, especially when inflammation is severe. It might help to start with gentler treatments like alternating warm and cold therapy or focusing on mobility before trying ice again. 💡 Stay strong-if you ever need guidance on managing the pain or finding more suitable relief methods, feel free to reach out! I'm here to help.

    For me not the palm towards the door but backwards works for some reason. I don’t need the door. I just reach back with palm facing behind me and stretching till i feel it in the pectoral. Seems to floss the nerve?

    • @youfixpain
      @youfixpain 3 дня назад

      That’s really interesting! 🙌 Everyone’s body can respond a bit differently, and it sounds like you’ve found a stretch that works well for you. Reaching back with the palm facing behind might be hitting the right angle to stretch both the pecs and potentially floss the nerve, as you said. 💡 It’s great you’re listening to your body and adjusting the stretch to what feels effective-keep it up! If you have any other techniques you’re experimenting with or need more advice, feel free to share or ask!

      Can you name the injury

    • @youfixpain
      @youfixpain 23 дня назад

      @@LoneRangers It sounds like Bicep Tendonitis due to how long you've had the injury. When you've had the injury for a longer period of time it turns into bicep tendonosis. Here is a quick breakdown between the differences: Bicep tendinosis and bicep tendonitis are both conditions that affect the bicep tendon, but they differ in their nature, causes, and symptoms. Bicep Tendonitis: - **What It Is:** Bicep tendonitis is an **acute inflammation** of the bicep tendon. - **Cause:** It's often caused by **overuse** or repetitive motion, such as throwing a ball or lifting weights. It can also result from a sudden injury. - **Symptoms:** Symptoms include **pain**, **swelling**, and **tenderness** in the front of the shoulder or upper arm. The pain often worsens with movement. - **Treatment:** Treatment usually involves **rest**, **ice**, anti-inflammatory medications, and sometimes physical therapy. The goal is to reduce inflammation and allow the tendon to heal. ### Bicep Tendinosis: - **What It Is:** Bicep tendinosis is a **chronic degeneration** of the bicep tendon. It involves the breakdown of the tendon’s collagen fibers. - **Cause:** Tendinosis develops over time due to **repeated stress** on the tendon without adequate healing, leading to micro-tears and degeneration. - **Symptoms:** The symptoms are often more subtle and include **dull, achy pain**, **stiffness**, and **weakness**. The pain is usually not as sharp as in tendonitis. - **Treatment:** Treatment focuses on **strengthening** the tendon, improving flexibility, and increasing blood flow to the area. This can include physical therapy, eccentric exercises, and sometimes more advanced treatments like platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. ### Summary: - **Tendonitis** is an acute inflammation, often due to recent injury or overuse, and causes sharp pain. - **Tendinosis** is a chronic condition where the tendon degenerates over time, leading to more persistent, dull pain.
