Monaco Formula One Circuit is actually pretty great... 🇲🇨
Join Panos and I for a walk around the Monaco Grand Prix Circuit! We visit the Casino, Swimming Pool, all the twists and turns and even the Palais de Monaco! No sign of the famous local royal family though.
I also give some of my most memorable moments from watching the Monaco Grand Prix on TV over the years. Including Schumacher's crash in 1996 and redemption in 1997, and Nico Rosberg's sneaky little move to deny Lewis Hamilton pole position.

Join me on a walk from Cranbrook train station in Devon to Exeter Airport! We'll pass through the developing new town of Cranbrook, explore the surrounding business parks, including Amazon and Lidl regional distribution centres, before trying (fairly) local cider in Clyst Honition and then boarding a flight home to Guernsey. What do you think of new towns like these? Serving a purpose in a time...

We were surprised to learn too that Cambodia is using a new currency to boost its economy - the Guernsey Pound!

Amtrak - is it really that bad!? $13 Chicago to Bloomington 🇺🇸
Просмотров 840Год назад
I found a bargain $13 fare from Chicago Union station to Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, so I just had to take it! What I experienced was a ninety minute delay, doors that wouldn't close (then wouldn't open) and speeds of 110mph which the conductor just couldn't stop bragging about despite his pretty terrible intercom system! What a trip, I wasn't expecting so much excitement from a simple 2 hour...

Great video!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Hi, is it true that you can take bus line 12 and get to European quarter for 4.50€?
That's for Brussels airport, not Charleroi airport
You arrived in s/h I left there 60 years ago to god's own country
Yorkshire?
Australia. 🇦🇺
@steveberry1826 never heard it referred to like that!
chatham was great in the 80s
A shame I was born in 1990 then!
Hi, after this bus, can we go to hasselts? With FlixBus or train?
By train absolutely
Well the reason it feels lacking in history is probably that it is lacking in history. The sport is relatively new here. Anyway, welcome to USA and I hope you had a good trip!
Aha yes, we might have been a bit Captain Obvious sometimes 😂 Great trip had by all. James and I are heading to Austin next year
@@helloantoniotraveladventures I didn't mean it in a snarky way, just thinking about how certain American football or baseball rivalries have a different feel, I suppose because they're much older. Of course USA in general has a short (recorded) history, compared to yours. When I was a child we all got on a bus to take a field trip 3 hours away to see an Indian fort that was, at that time, about 80 years old. That was amazing, a building that old, haha. It has aged significantly more just during my lifetime. But that was in Wyoming, which has a settled history very brief even compared to the eastern parts of the country.
I wanted to skip the cheesy poem part but it turned out super nice and inspiring. Thank you, Antonio!
😂 I remember filming this over three years ago! COVID time was weird!
hi there, how to get from brussels charleroi to wetteren?
No idea, I've never been to Wetteren! Google maps has a great feature where you can look up directions using public transport. Give that a try
Nice content, no bullshit comments, appreciated. Not so many videos on Gagauzia, nice!
Glad you appreciate it, thanks for watching!
I used to go at least 6 times a year when it was £1 for foot passengers, and up to a dozen times one year! In fact Hoverspeed actually paid me £1 to go on one occasion with the car! Last month I went with the car for the first time in 15 years and it cost £39 return, and the same again a few weeks later. Can't really complain in reality with that, and don't think I would consider going as a foot passenger again seeing how much it costs. Got the bug for going over again now, and great to see how much Calais town centre has improved, more so because most of the Brits aren't wandering around the town looking for cheek cigarettes and booze to go along with their English lunch on the high street. Much more civilised now.
Wow, I remember there were offers but never did anything like that! You're dead right about Calais. Enjoy your next trip, I love a ferry journey!
@@helloantoniotraveladventures Before Hoverspeed closed things down to Boulogne from Folkestone, my oldest friend and I had a plan to go as foot passengers to Calais, walk to Boulogne then get the Seacat back to Folkestone, and train to Dover to collect the car. We tested the route walking half way to Boulogne and back again to Calais, so we could have done that if the Boulogne service hadn't closed. Shame, it was a nice alternative to Calais, and having been there recently, it's still a great place to visit. The French put so much more effort into maintaining and sprucing up their towns than we do in England.
@stephenvalente3296 that sounds like an awesome plan and would have been a fun video! Shame you never got to do it
Am thinking of doing this from the airport to Bruge 2 nights and then antwerp 1 night and then to charleroi airport again. Is there a ticket which would be best to do all this and website?
Absolutely, buy a ten journey multi ticket on the SNCB app
How you do buy a multi ticket on the app? I want to go direct to bruges and then antwerp and back to the airport Thanks
It's called a multi ten journey I think. Buy that first, and then you put in your departure and destination point each time you use one of the ten tickets
LOL 16 DOLLARS FOR A BEER? Fuck that!
Absolutely my sentiment!
Grief! It's less than an hour from Southampton to Guernsey... You really aren't going to starve!
Grief indeed!
did you ever have to make a layover to charleroi? how do you change terminals, by foot or by shuttle bus?
No, but it'll be by foot
Loved it but you might want to review your East and West compass points !
Happens sometimes when recording live!
The one time that Alderney won that Cup, was when a Royal Navy ship just happened to be visiting Braye Harbour and the Alderney team got stacked with sailors! Part of Island Folklore ever since!
Sadly, i have the feeling like it gets slowly overrun by french...the more connected the communes/highways/villages/internet are, the more french it becomes. The McDonalds at the entrance had more french than german textes, the workers were also french wallonians which made me a bit angry and sad at the same time. Same goes to other things. Greetings from Germany
Thanks for watching, greetings from Guernsey
Okay
Okay
Dover smells of cambelts ?? Cambelts don’t smell🤦🏼♂️
Correct, they don't have noses
Honestly Charleroi doesn’t look any worse than Glasgow
Totally agree
Where can I buy the ticket?
SNCB app
@@helloantoniotraveladventures Thank you very much. Only for update, now the ticket cost 17.40€
@lucapanada5002 thanks, still cheaper than flibco I believe!
@@helloantoniotraveladventures yes.
@@helloantoniotraveladventures another question: SNCB app says that I should take the A3 line, then take train to luttre station and take another at Braine-le-comte for Bruxelles, instead of A1 line to Charleroi central, like the video. What is your advice? Did you have done a train change?
"Joe says no" The keepers name is Joe Willis
Correct!
Large Premium Beer 15,99$ and then its also Heineken hahaha damn.. I might choose water then instead of the yellow piss 😅crazy that a water there costs more than a 0.5l beer in our stadiums. overall i bet its a cool experience somehow, but coming to atmosphere they will never get near our football stadiums in germany. Interesting video tho 👍
Aha I agree, the reason for the high prices seems to be to stop people getting drunk... Would be an outrage if they did that at Union Saint-Gilloise who I used to follow when living in Belgium!
@@helloantoniotraveladventures then they need to add a term for people getting too drunk. In certain stadiums in Germany, people who are too drunk or get too drunk will not get access to the stadium or will get kicked out. How they even get drunk with all the light beers 😅
@tbn.z900 haha they're a bit stronger in Belgium!
@@helloantoniotraveladventures I meant American beer. For us Germans the Belgium beer is no problem 😜
Hi, what app are you using to buy the ticket?

Cheaper fuel and alcohol in Luxembourg. I live in "the other Luxembourg", i.e. the Belgian province of the same name (le Luxembourg Belge), and only a 20-minute drive to the border with the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg; I haven't filled in the tank of my car or bought a bottle of booze in Belgium for many years... can't even remember when the last time was.
Bet you save loads compared to tax heavy Belgium!
Gret video. But remember MLS was not designed to compete with the big European leagues, Premiere, Liga, Serie A, etc
Cheers, and you're absolutely right!
Please invest in an iPhone stabilizing rig or something. Had to turn this off at 3min from motion sickness😆
I don't use an iPhone and like to keep my setup simple, but thanks for the feedback!
as somebody who has been a championship fan for about 10 years I disagree with Dan's assessment. Its firmly Championship level, even if all but the best teams of MLS are nowhere near the promotion and playoff teams. Its as if english people comparing MLS to League 1 forget that half the championship is really mediocre and many of the teams have slogs of seasons with no inconsistency. Transfer fees, wages, interaction on transfer market, etc point to a peer relationship between MLS and the Championship. Organization in MLS, especially on the defensive side of the ball can be poor. Overall theres less commitment to keeping the game in front of you and this is why it gets end to end. Americans are great to play for a win, but im less confident for an american team to play for a draw when they need it. Some teams in MLS are incredibly organized defensively, but they are exceptions. However, looking at the lineups of this match the top end players of both teams are elite championship borderline prem players. the median player is also right around the average championship standard, more so with atlanta but their manager was subpar and Nashville is better managed. When you get to the bench is when a comparative gulf in quality emerges in my opinion. i believe organization is more important, but at the same time each MLS team has 2-5 players that would be one of the top players on every championship team and that counts for something. To give you an idea, between 4 players on this Atlanta team (3 on the pitch, 1 injured) their sales total €50m and I really have no doubt any one of Giakoumakis, Thiago Almada, Caleb Wiley, or Luiz Araujo wouldve gotten into and made even the 22/23 Burnley team better
Great assessment! Thanks for watching

I'm born in the US to a british parent but live in the UK now. I went to an ice hockey game in the USA recently and was shocked by the anthem. I go to top flight domestic football loads in the Uk and we don't do the anthem as you know, but in America it's before every game. I didn't stand, I don't support America and can't stomach what they are doing in Gaza and what has been done in that country's name. I can see the confusion of the last bill. The numerical 1 in Khmer font looks like the numerical American 9. You can tell it is Cambodian font for $1000 by the cursive like style writting . It's a similar case where the numerical 5 (aka V) in Roman looks like the letter V in English.
Excellent observations
