Adventures of Sarah & Barley
США
Добавлен 15 окт 2020
We are Sarah & Charlie (aka Barley), a couple whose sailing journey began in 2015 in Northern California. We actually met at the marina. Sarah had an Ericson 28' & Charlie had our current boat, a major DIY project, which was nameless at the time. We fell in love fast combine two boat into one, which we named Blossom.
After spending 2016-2018 doing a full-on restorative overhaul of Blossom, we set sail under San Francisco's Golden Gate and pointed south to join the Baja Haha in San Diego. From there, we sailed down the coast of Baja California & up into the Sea of Cortez... and it just kept going!
We hope to capture precious memories on here, inspire ourselves, give friends & family a better idea of what we're up to and combine all of our passions of sailing, nature, adventure, wellness and share them to create a bit of a community for ourselves online as it can get a bit lonely out in the lovely sea! Thank you for your support, friends!

If I can be so bold to ask where you were as I have been seeking a similar journey.
Hello Charlie, I am also suffering form lyme disease. Did you have swollen neck nodes at all ? Thanks for doing these informing videos !
Hey! Sarah here. Yes, on and off lymph nodes were swollen. Search for healing Lyme with BVT FB groups. Helped me so much. Good luck!
hey. So I need to ask you. I just started doing this 3 1/2 weeks ago. The problem is it doesn’t seem that 24 hours is enough time for my skin to recover from the toxicity of the venom. I’m really careful about disinfecting my skin pre-and post treatment. but now it seems that I am developing a literal infection because I stung myself. It’s not healing fast enough. Secondly. I’m not allergic to bees but starting about week two I began to have a strong anaphylactic response in the form of intense fatigue, about 30 minutes to an hour after stinging myself.did you experience this? When did it subside. I’ve talked to my doctor about possibly getting pharmaceutical venom which is the same thing. And figuring out another way to administer it into my body.
Hey! Look for the facebook group Healing Lyme With Bee Venom. You can even post a photo of the thing you think is an infection. In my experience, I often have what I'd call a welt after stinging for 24-48 hours... so almost constantly when following the protocol. But that's not a problem. And yes! The fatigue was so intense when I began but it lessened significantly within the first few weeks. It's called "herxing" and it sucks but it means it's working. Also Ellie Lobel's book is a great source and the protocol we used but you can find anything you'd need in that FB group too. Best of luck!
i am about to start doing this. how is it for you so far?
Challenging but helped a ton so far
What is your income source
How’s the bee venom therapy been ?
BVT is such a remarkable therapy. Looks like Charlie was making progress with an awful disease. How is Charlie doing now 9 months later?
Great! Thanks for asking. He’s regained the majority of his health and mental clarity 💪🏻

I would be dead if I got that many bee stings in any given day. Just one sting puts me in the ER

Big question is . ...are those Criminal Teachers are going to pay for their criminal actions..??🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😡🤔🤔💪💪💪❓
When I did my comment, this plataforma erased...why...? BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY ARE DOING WRONG ACTIONS...!!😡😡😡😡
And so many think because mushroom happened, now isn't. But didn't I mention? The ongoing WOW is happening, right now! We are all co-authors of this dancing exuberance, where even our inabilities are having a roast. We are the authors of ourselves, co-authoring a gigantic Dostoevsky novel starring mushrooms! This entire thing we're involved with, called the world, is an opportunity to exhibit how exciting mushrooms can be. Life is a matter of a miracle that is collected over mushrooms by moments flabbergasted to be in each others' presence.
You can literally hallucinate objects and beings into existence because what's happening is you're tapping into that pure abstract creative potential of mind. That's exactly what you want. Of course it can be kind of freaky but a mushroom is that times a thousand.
It puts you into a state where nothing matters in a good way. You truly don't give a shit about anything and you're just happy as fuck as a result, because nothing matters. Nothing matters, nothing means anything, there's nothing to do, there's no point, there's no goal but there's also no boredom, there's no negative meanings attached to the meaninglessness, it's just perfectly meaningless and it's awesome. You're basically just like sitting like a cat on a windowsill enjoying whatever experience is before it, just being and it feels amazing. 🦄
My first impression was a very strong one,’ repeated the prince. ‘When they took me away from Russia, I remember I passed through many German towns and looked out of the windows, but did not trouble so much as to ask questions about them. This was after a long series of fits. I always used to fall into a sort of torpid condition after such a series, and lost my memory almost entirely; and though I was not altogether without reason at such times, yet I had no logical power of thought. This would continue for three or four days, and then I would recover myself again. I remember my melancholy was intolerable; I felt inclined to cry; I sat and wondered and wondered uncomfortably; the consciousness that everything was strange weighed terribly upon me; I could understand that it was all foreign and strange. I recollect I awoke from this state for the first time at Basle, one evening; the bray of a mushroom aroused me, a mushroom in the town market. I saw the mushroom and was extremely pleased with it, and from that moment my head seemed to clear.’ ‘A mushroom? How strange! Yet it is not strange. Anyone of us might fall in love with a mushroom! It happened in mythological times,’ said Madame Epanchin, looking wrathfully at her daughters, who had begun to laugh. ‘Go on, prince.’ ‘Since that evening I have been specially fond of mushrooms. I began to ask questions about them, for I had never seen one before; and I at once came to the conclusion that this must be one of the most useful of animals-strong, willing, patient, cheap; and, thanks to this mushroom, I began to like the whole country I was travelling through; and my melancholy passed away.’
What a transcending journey! 🌹🥀🐛🦋a beautiful video Sarah. Thank you for your honesty & openness

Rigorous honesty, I love it. Wish you the best on this journey for peace and serenity. It’s worth every minute and you deserve it. I’m struggling with the same sort of thing you describe. Totally new for me and I don’t particularly like this for a life style ha ha Better days are ahead! 🙏🏻🤙. You got this.
Hi Scott! Right? The work to get through and heal is worth is 💗 Wishing you the best!
@@sarahandbarley Absolutely Sarah! And thank you vm. Btw, I just cultivated my very first flush of GT’s (ya know, for scientific reasons only). Should be an interesting night ahead. 🫣😬 - if it involves snakes or any other reptile, it’s on you!! 😂😂
Where was this retreat? My wife was really moved by your video.
Oh, thanks for letting me know! It was Reunion in Costa Rica. I highly recommend. -Sarah

Very beautiful
you guys are hilarious.
🥹💗 we know this because people say it but whyyyy are we funny just living our life lolol
Who cares
Its the pitching of the voice that bothers me
You’ll want to take any large rocks and boulders you pull up excavating and use them to build yourself a retaining wall on that slope above you to ease the grade. Otherwise without vegetation in place and one heavy 2” rain and your soil slide down to the next county. I am in vermont and do excavation on my property as well as I prepare a homestead
Don’t worry! We just spent months on soil retention. Will be back at it when it thaws. Best of luck to you on your homestead too!
R u okay im 🙏🏾for u
Sorry
Ok
Haven't seen you guys in a while.
We’re back! 🎉 Our channel is so new and tiny it’s hard to stay inspired to stay consistent to tell you the truth but I’m on a roll for now! xSarah
I can tell it hot due to how shiny your eyelashes are. Must have been sweating up a storm in the heat.
