I’ve done this job before but needed to do it again, and your video got straight to the point and was super easy (also bought a new VCV because you pointed it out, and that is likely the issue on mine, but since I have a new pressure regulator anyway might as well install!)

Dud I just got me the same bike you have can you tell me why the side reflectors are always broken on these bikes it’s like the previous owners always find someway to freaking break them off mine is the same way on each side the reflectors the yellow ones are broken and missing I had to replace them with brand new ones I really don’t get it mines in 09

Dude great video! I have an 2008 ford explorer and my balancer failed then the pulley ate the crank shaft sensor leaving me stranded on the freeway. Hopefully the replacement job goes ok.

Where did you get the parts and puller? I see harmonic balancers online, but none that come with the TTY Bolt or amything. Ive seen lots of reviews saying to avoid the Dorman brand because many have failed just after warranty period. Thanks for the video!

Hi, I have the same engine, but mine is super damp. I also have a disgusting clacking noise in the engine with misfiring. I can explain the misfiring very well with a defective ignition coil (there is definitely a defective one), but is that also the cause of the clacking?

I'm dealing with the exact same issue on my 03 XLT right now. It made grooves in the rubber part of the harmonic balancer too!

I wonder how much better that Datsun would perform with a modern electronic ignition?

I bought a new 77 B-210 while in the Navy at age 19. I had it 8+ years and 160,000 miles, very reliable for a 70s car and no catalytic converter so used regular leaded gas. However I don't miss the frequent tuneups that were required, points and condenser, and manual timing adjustments, plugs every 5-6000 miles. The parts were cheap and I got it down to 30 minutes with experience.

I own the 1.8 Manuel versions have had timing chain busted and nothing else luckily failed except the bypass valve due to me turning up the e boost. Mechanic fried ecu doing engine work had to replace ecu at 100k miles. Having major coolant leak all of it gone after several miles used to barely leak now it’s exploding out. Was curious if the coolant flange was the result to that problem

I had the 78 B210 hatchback, in 83 I put a toggle switch for accesories and installed a light up button for a push to start car.

they used to blow the head gaskets fairly easy but were pretty easy to replace back then.

Это случается из за краткосрочных перегревов головки блока, которая очень чувствительна к этому, так же из за неправильного подобранного слишком густого масла. В корпусе масляного фильтра стоит маленький шариковый обратный клапан, который не всегда работает исправно и стравливает давление из головки блока при простое. Густое масло усугубляет положение.
