If you're on the other side of the Pacific Ocean replace EWR with NRT/HND🇯🇵 and ICN/GMP🇰🇷 because these have B777-200s with PW4090 like this B777-222. In the case of the South Koreans their PW4090s have the PW logos replaced by Korean Air logo while the Japs NH and JL leave them on.

Sometimes I’ll get myself a seat right behind the wing just to hear those beautiful hydraulics in action, even the inner aileron has a certain awe in its design and how flush it is with the flaps.

Nice. Traveling back that way next month, but now have a GoPro 9 along with an iPhone 13Max. Just need to do some research on what’s the best side to sit on to get that view given the typical weather patterns. I got lucky and sat on the correct side to record an early morning arrival landing from the opposite direction.
