Motovation USA keeps the SC Project in stock. I’ve put 20k miles on it so far with no tune, but I’m sure a tune is recommended.
If you ride with coms or music in your helmet do you feel like there is too much drone at hwy speeds?
There’s a lot of drone and wind nose wearing ear plugs or headphones, but I enjoy the exhaust sound. Rode from SC to CA and back with no problem.

Im convinced people in this thread dont know traffic laws. If it is a 2 way road with dotted lines in the middle, it is entirely legal to overtake vehicles in front of you, provided you do so safely and dont put oncoming traffic at risk. He slowed immediately back down after passing and it can be argued that he had to go fast to complete the (completely legal) overtake in an efficient manner. Its often encouraged. This is fine, there is really nothing to see here.
What kind of mic do you use? I’ve got a xsr900 and I want the mic to pick up the exhaust.
I use a zoom H1n sound recorder. Recently bought a DJI mic 2 but found out the hard way that you need a desktop with editing software to fix the audio.

Not one available left turn during that pass buddy, calm the fuck down. As long as he's aware of turn signals and anyone making a turn (during an active passing zone) checks their mirror like they're supposed to, then everyone will be fine

Since you have had this exhasut for a good bit now, whats your thoughts? Does it ever become " too much" ? It seems everyone in the MT09 groups soon after sell their CRT because they claim its unbearable. Or hurts their ears. Whats your thoughts man??
I really like the sound, but it’s definitely way too much. I have to wear earplugs or it will kill my hearing.
That exhaust sounds good, but way too much drone... it seems like you cannot really have both. You either get a nasty sounding exhaust and it will drone like crazy or you have stock quiet one that won't drone and its not nasty at all.

Any tip for installing the sc project CRT exhaust? how did u know which pipe goes where since the instruction doesn’t seem to explain that.
There’s no easy way to do it, I just kept guessing until it all fit.

Currently daily riding a 2022 MT-07, getting a 2024 MT-09 SP this spring, hopefully this exhaust will fit the 2024 model, otherwise i'll have to wait a while for them to sell one for the gen 4 haha

Heyy i ordered MT09 24 too, i want to go with sc project crt too but i read they not will not fit, bcs 24 mt09 have some co2 sensor. They will need upgrade that exhaust

Which bar ends did you use to make your mirrors sit flush with the handle bars?
They’re just the ends that came with the cheap Amazon mirrors. Threaded straight into the handlebar I will be swapping them out for the Rizoma stealth or spy-r.
They look nice but need to drop under or over, no way could I ride in london traffic with mirrors that add 2ft to my bars
Goregous bike man! What mirror set up are you running? Also, i want something loud, but i dont want it to be straight up non controllably obnoxious. Since youve had the SC for a while now, whats your honest thoughts? I dont ride highway, just leisure in my spare time and carve backroads and stuff.
Thanks! The mirrors are an Amazon knock-off of the CRG, I will eventually get the Spy-R from Rizoma. The SC is way too obnoxious, I have to wear ear plugs everytime I ride. Yoshimura is the best in my opinion, great sound but not too loud. Unfortunately every brand for the MT was sold out and I did not want to wait.
