In my opinion fashion is to be beautiful, feel beautiful and also be comfortable, not to show that you are wealthy. It's living for others, not for yourself. Why we should walk around with certain stuff just to prove to other people that we are worthy enough. that's not satisfying at all because it's putting others' opinions above your comfort. Fashion should only be your likings, your comfort, and what you feel beautiful. And it's not about following a standard.

Im french here, my mother and my sister we would dress up for each other and critic our outfits for the better was a sort of game we played we still do this and mother is 89. Its good to get other peoples opinion they may see something that u dont notice.

I didn't like the fat fobia in this. I can see that you tried, but you said "if you find your body is a bit too big" (10:19) and "a body we're not proud of" when talking about larger bodies (10:41). I know you said there are beautiful shapes, but you said "still" beautiful shapes, as though one would expect there not to be, I am 5"9 and 59kg, so I'm not fat by any stretch, but I want to call things out. You have revealed subtle fat fobia and shame in this video and I think you can do better - eke less judgemental words like "not proud of" and "still beautiful" and either 100% nuetral words or actual celebration.

I was never taught how to dress, I looked ad photos and ads and cultivated similar clothing mostly from affordable used and vintage shops. This breaks it down in a much more understandable way than trying to figure it out on my own. Thank you!

this is a very good video and from the sound of it , Id fit in , in Scandinavia! I'm of Scandinavian ancestors( Danish and Swede) but live in the USA. My natural wavy hair and body shape would be considered ideal in Scandinavia - I just didn't inherit the larger chest. The only thing I disagree with this video is the Goyard bags they are flashy and ugly

The French standard or idea of ‘elegant’ doesn’t apply everywhere or accepted by everyone. There is a level of elegance in the Middle East that no French would reach or understand. same in Africa irrespective of Asia, so there is no one mold fits all.

Hair clips are such an 80’s thing. Scrunchies too. They’re just fun to wear. I understand the Stanley cups and many of the things mentioned here, but I think it’s all about the individual wearing them also.
