I think the beginning of this is better, but could've used some fine tuning at the end. The beginning is just chilling realistic and dramatic, the way the alarm is going on in the background. I can't really explain it.
Iron Man does have powers, he have them with use of his suit, but that is same as vader needs to use the force to have powers, he have powers with use of his suit

this was cut for me when i saw it in theaters which made tony seem at the time to be Prick as well as a pussyass for just running away. Now anybody without any weapons training would do the samething, i understand that. BUT a guy whose wealth & empire comes from creating & selling weapons would pick one up & fire back? It just had me like Damn... Pussyass! when i first saw this & maybe that added to the character ark of tony becoming a selfless superhero but since i seen this cut it makes more sense like YES, fire back on they ass.
Do you even know what "spare time" means? Its the short time ppl spend when they are Not working or doing important things. & since designing weapons is his life's work then that isnt his spare time activity. Buying expensive shit, getting hoe, collecting nice cars & learning how to use a weapon beyond just designing them would be on the list of spare time shit to do...
