appreciate! and heck yes, get'er done. moving the ball down far enough to get the full length of those 2 splines was the hardest part. long as youre patient about it and dont smash your hands with the mini sledge too many times itll be golden! def is worth though! feeels soo f'n smooth and cripsy after these. its a nice change, esp if you have oem with the sloppy bushings.. 🙏

One of the best asthetic mods you can do for the engine bay even if you keep the fuse box, battery and and ps res in there oem locations having the seams all shaved makes the world of difference. Sadly no instagram at the moment. Working on shaving my z now will share videos once done

@@drewpuck sorry for late response. I can make one. Super easy, interior panel adjacent to mirror comes off with push pin. Then door panel needs to be removed to get the mirror harness detached so it can run out through the hole in the door the mirro bolts too. Then you can remove the 3 nuts from the back side of the mirrors base, underneath that cover plate you had removed with the push pin. Then whole mirror pops right off the door

Hey I know it’s a bit of an older video but I was wondering if your mirrors have the Electronic defogging like my Z does and if the replacement process would be the same? I’m just trying to fix my Z up and make her a little bit nicer!…. I couldn’t find anything on RUclips for it, also if you have any links for the factory service manual or where I could purchase one that would be just as helpful and appreciated

3" open downpipes, we just went to gas station to fill up and wanted to hear the turbos before the full exhaust went on.

dang im late as shit, i use a harbor freight engine slinger and attach it to both side of the motor via the bolt hols on the heads for the (head to upper plenum brackets0 taht hold the prvr solenoid ect. that sits across top of the fenders via the lip of the hood and the holds motor up with 2 large threaded j hooks. once motors supported, undo motor mount bolts, and you can undu the front cross member bolts and slowl lower with floor jack as far as you can until you need to disconect rest of suspension. but shouldnt have too. i just replaced an oil pump in car without pulling motor. same principle. i hope it went well home!

Yeah that tang off the shifters center shaft goes father up then expected. Pain to get ball up far enough to fully grind it away so ball will drop where needed and still retain tight fit. After doing this mod 3 or 4 times it becomes a cake walk. But like you said a few tacks and your golden! Bet she feels so much crisper now! =] nice work man!

The press fit typically does the trick its pretty tough to move using the hammer and extension

Good idea, long as you heat sleeve the larger hose as itll be running over the exhaust hot side. I chose this route becaise it hides the majority of everything. Onstead of keeping it in plain sight. But def can do ot the way you stated if you prefer.

i agree completley! it hurt even more to do... i made sure to take every last nut, bolt, wire and electronic off that car and rehome it. sadly she hit a wall sideays at about 60-70 mph after the brakes faded out and driver had to pull ebrake to slide sideways and somewhat save her or go in head on so he at least got to reuse most of it and salvage the full drivetrain. even have a spare passenger side rear quarter and the headlight buckets if you know anyone who's looking let me know =] but yeah, it was a rough day!

sadly this one was a wrecked roller( ruclips.net/video/Ak8TGSQfVRA/видео.html ). i was stripping her down to salavage every last part in order to swap them over to a 94 tt roller i got off a buddy in exchange for building his bay for him: ruclips.net/video/DouY5edBa90/видео.html once i get a lil more cash i should making some videos on paint prep for that 94tt roller. also gonna do video on how to shave your bay which seems to be a big request on facebook.
