14:35 that was so smooth... I saw the gimmick but how he got her to the 7 was so smooth I thought he actually pulled the 7 up and bottom dealt the joker... That would have been a neat trick too.. But he was really clean.

Things I noticed... and first guess \/ \/ \/ \/ Tiles images APPEAR to all be different. Teller/nobody sees the tile he picked, placed under the hat, UNTIL AFTER the hamster reveal. After he triggered the firework to bring the hamster back to life... The hamster box is pretty standard except for the firework. The fish tile at the end appears to be the same tile/drawing as before they were mixed.. The maze/pyramid? And I don't think he revealed the other tiles after the tile reveal or trick. So it doesn't appear to be a force. The tiles don't appear to be switched/physically.If it's a scent thing, the hamster wasn't in on it,,, lol Cause he didn't get a whif of the tile if I remember... so the gimmick might be in the pyramid itself somehow. Have to think about this one later. But for now, I wonder about the length of time between the fireowork and tile reveal... if something was gimmicked in the helmet at that same time to change the tile image so it became irrelevant which tile he picks. Disappearing/changing ink/image somehow.

It should count as cheating if you destroy the evidence.

I know this show i quite old but please do not practice any acts with living animals anymore.

The quality of this show, from the MC to the excessive editing to the magicians themselves has declined lately. Sad.

That first guy had lightning fast hands WITH exact precision. I watch all these episodes and I'm rarely floored with seeing skills like that. I imagine him holding 2 short knives and being able to carve a falling piece of paper into something fancy instantly.

i grew up knowing a lot of really great magicians. shirt dude not funny nor was he entertaining .. magic has become sooo full of crap performers milking their esoteric wet dream effects

i think Teller had no choice, he only got to see his tile the 2nd time round, lifting the hat, the magician already slipped the tile of redfish to be there. the hamster had 'free choice' though,,, he had a choice of any exit that was a redfish,,, the other exits (of other glyphs) could not be entered (go nutz, many ways to block that) Teller probably sensed it, but Penn feels the magician executed it well enough

All that ridiculous scent discussion... Hamsters are no dogs and can't be trained in such a way. Their only motivation is food. The magician must have known what symbol was on Teller's tile (maybe they were marked in a way that even Teller could not notice) and must have slipped some treat in the right room in an unnoticed moment.

I highly doubt it's about scent. It seems plausible but with 20 tiles, it would be very high risk -- everyone talking about the tile under the hat but then there's supposedly 20 different smells in the maze. The hamster wasted no time, didn't second guess it's direction, never doubled back. It seems plausible but I think it's too complicated. The actual answer is likely much simpler

When Ganzalo did fear, I knew that act immediately. They even used audience members to cover it up years ago. I agree with Penn, the guy did it so beautifully they shouldn't have messed it up for the audience which is what happened anyway. I would have given him the trophy.

Brooke is really great at playing along with the performance and doing what the performer needs of her.

Am i wrong or did the show start out with people very rarely fooling them. Now its like multiple times each episode. I mean, the more it happens the less of an accomplishment it is.
