Hey what did you do to get rid of the lag between gears while shifting.... I'm having this issue
My 389 got the isx 15 with full delete/ egr/dpf/ n def. She Cranked to 685hp, only kept that holset vgt... she'll stroll, 6.3mpg. Just gotta keep your foot out of it, set the crusie and never touch Any Gear, on Any Hill, unless you Just Want to......

Hey bud quick question. I'm a little confused. I'm hoping you can give me some clarity. So, if I go in with the 16:1 piston and convert twin turbos to single...... 1) I must deactivate the IVA's or leave them functioning? 2) Concerning the ECM...... Will the same program I'm running (on a twin turbo set up and 18:1 pistons) stay the same or will a new program need to be done ony ECM?

Yes need to go 16 to 1 from 18 to 1. Acert need a lot of air, this is why so many people got issues when they put single.
@@Bosnianfear15 Thank you I have a question I have replaced my radiator and thermostats my truck runs at high temperature when ever I am pulling up a hill I had someone to do a compression test twice and they say I don’t have a crackhead or a head gasket but if I put a water bottle on the overflow tube I do have bubbles and now I think I’m losing coolant somewhere not in the oil though truck runs fine no smoking can you give me another scenario to check out
@@ulyssesbenton9921 you can get the head gasket kit from Amazon like 40 bucks, if it turns yellow or dark green that means you got a combination leak,just make sure it works with diesel engines. It let you know if you got combustion gasses, other place is compressor or pre cooler trubo boost can push coolant into your intake, if you got an Acert engine. It is possible that you have a small Crack somewhere on the head, or cylinder liner or gaset. Maybe under heavy load it leaks. Start with simple

If you start truck cold its not going to have blowby needs to get to operation temperature

Run that engine for 10 hours under heavy load then tell me if you got blow by or not

You had the old actuator turbo? Did you just plug the air line?

Really good engines. My dad’s Kenworth has a 475 HP 6NZ C15 cat and here in Oregon whenever we get 2 weeks of freezing weather that 6NZ will still start right up without even needing to be plugged in! Shows how reliable those C15s are.
They did a great job on I have a 14 l it's a 2004 model I'm putting in a 1990 model peterbilt having an issue for water pump pipe changing the turbo deleting the EGR it's a little bow on the back of the engine on the passenger side looks like a air hose do you know what this is for what will I have to do to the ecm to delete the EGR I'm just trying to make a better I took a wore-out 3406b

Mine have mild blowby. Is it a problem or normal?

I disagree. I’ve singled a three of my SDP’s and they haven’t blown a head gasket yet. All have over 200k on them and running strong.
Was it worth it to single them I have an 05 I want to single turbo I’m not making near the power that my 04 single turbo is making and I have a bigger tune on the 05

How can I send you my pistons to get them cut ? I had the exact same problem you describe on the video. What hurts the most is that I bought a Platinum Kit and overhauled the engine less than a year ago.
