I inserted a 5mm LED into the modeled LED hole. The rear lights look different in the driving video because I didn't have red LEDs. Instead, I used white LED bulbs and created a cap with red PLA to attach to them.

Both are equally eye-catching, so it's hard to pick one over the other. 😊 When it comes to climbing ability, the Whale performs better due to its lower center of gravity and longer wheelbase. However, I think the Tracrawler looks more stylish while driving.

@@aGGreSSiv For crawler brushless motors, I recommend Hobbywing’s Fusion SE or Fusion Pro. The motor used in the video is the Fusion SE 1200KV, which is an all-in-one motor with an integrated ESC. Its compact size and lightweight design provide advantages, and it offers excellent low-speed torque at an affordable price, making it highly advantageous overall. It operated smoothly with the gearbox in the manual without significant issues. The car in the video has a wheelbase of 320mm, which roughly corresponds to a 1/10 scale. Most 1/10 scale crawler wheels should be compatible. As for specific points to watch out for, ensure you adjust the length of the link rods appropriately during assembly. This should help avoid any major issues. Before purchasing, I recommend gathering sufficient information about the structure and components of RC crawlers to make an informed decision.

It is used to create a 40mm eye-to-eye link rod for connecting the axle and the suspension rocker. While I cut a threaded rod to size for my build, I recommend using a headless bolt for easier assembly. Looking forward to seeing your awesome build and driving!

You probably know that, generally, a longer wheelbase is known for better climbing ability. Aside from that, the shorter wheelbase was actually more fun. For example, it had a higher ground clearance, which reduced snagging, and it was much more stable on side slopes. Plus, the smaller turning radius improved maneuverability on rough terrain. Still, I personally prefer the look of the longer version hugging the rocks as it drives.

@@elvisrcchannel4590 Yeah it's that belly-to-the-rock that the long one does, for sure that's part of it's attraction. Almost snake or lizard like.
