Thanks - this is very helpful.
Thanks ❤❤❤❤
Cool and a very useful shorts thanks❤❤❤
Thank you Mollie, that was fabulous and informative!
Glad it was helpful!
@@wildolive Indeed it is!
Thanks for showing us these stabilizers!
Hi mollie..... I don't have a printer do you think the STICK AND STITCH would work with the AUNT MARTHAS hot iron transfers? Thanks for the video!
I’d be very hesitant to iron the stick n stitch because of the adhesive. However, you absolutely can trace onto it. I usually use a pencil for that. It takes longer obviously, but it works great for dark fabrics.
@@wildolive Thanks Mollie I'll try tracing .
I'm just starting to use simple embroidery on quilts. Your information is just what I've been looking fo for what I need to learn fast. Thanks.
I am so happy to hear this!
Thanks for making the video. I am making some felt pennants and this method will be super handy.
Have you ever tried to use a printer to get the pattern on the freezer paper or have you only traced it by hand?
Yes! I actually have a video showing how I do that process!
These scissors are available on Amazon…In 2 sizes of scallop!
For a long time they were really hard to find, but thankfully they are more available now. I recommend the Benzie ones because I’ve used them, but I’m sure other versions are great too!
Fabulous! Saved me an incredible amount of time! Thanks for the good video
Thank you! Please keep up the videos. Love and a new sub from Canada
lol, I just did this and kept telling my self… they’ll never know
And then we go and broadcast it on the internet! 😹
Also leave your sewing shears to the fabric not your finger! It hurts!!
Oh no! That’s serious!
Ouchie!
Barely
True! 😂 Although I’d say there are some pokes that are rough…under a finger nail is NOT fun.
It freaking does hurt!! Lol
Yes! Even the less pointy cross stitch needles will get you!
Soo glad I was glad I was given this information
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow
❤😂
Insane!! Thank you!
Thanks for all this great information!!!
Thank you for watching!
Okay but this actually made me laugh out loud, I’m following for more obvious tips
Quick and helpful! Thanks so much!
Hi
Thanks for telling me 😂😂😂😂. You think we don't know 😂😂😂😂😂
I just snorted! Wasnt expexting that!
Bro🤦♀️
Lmao 🤣
“More ODIVIDIOUS Stitching tips” 😂
I want to try to make your Jesse Tree ornaments for this coming Christmas
This is the perfect time to get started!
Great video Mollie!! I would love a video on how to finish your round scallop edge ornaments without the special tool. I don't have the one the die fits into. Thanks!
So true ❤❤❤
Your designs, all of them, are great. I so would like to have your quilt dies. My manual cutter is my 10 year old Cuttlebug which is fine for paper. Would this little machine work with your dies?? Thank you Diane
Thank you so much! I *think* they will work with the Cuttlebug. Let me double check with the manufacturer and I’ll get back to you!
Thank you. If not then possibly a larger manual machine is in my future. What do you recommend? I am not wanting anything fancy - just one that works with your dies and similar ones Diane
@@dianewilliams5506 Here's the official word! If it can take other wafer-thin dies, it can take the Benzie dies I designed (and all their others) As always, the 'sandwich' may need to be adjusted to accommodate the die, but it should work!
I tried to seperate them like that but they ended up getting all tangled and knotted together🙁 might be the embroidery floss i'm using but i don't know.
Hmm...it could be the embroidery floss. I'd also try going slower to see if that helps.
Thank you.
Really useful, thank you!
I see the difference.
❤
Different dye lots.
The one on the left( after you flip it) is a little brighter
It really helps to have a swifter beneath yourself while snipping apart dies. Use the swifter to almost catch those pesky metal pieces that fling away! TFS
That’s a fantastic idea! I also sometimes snip the tiny bits down into a trash can (it’s not always successful! 😂)
Love it when instructional videos are just short and get to the point, good stuff.
Same here! That’s definitely the inspiration for my tutorial videos!
@@wildolive thanks for the techniques!
Tutorial please 🥺
Thank you! I am new to this, even though I did cross-stitch years ago.
That pillow is SO cute! What a fun way to finish up your cross stitch! Love the name for the project and the fabric!
Just finished viewing week 4. Thank you for the very sweet pattern. I’m loving the colors. I also plan to make mine a pillow. 💕 Happy Easter!🐣
Those are "Darcy Brand Exotic Fibers" 😂 This project is so pretty and I love all of the colors! And the Darcy Cat blooper!
Darcy Brand Exotic Fibers! I'll remember that!
The bunnies look so cute! Maybe Darcy Cat wants to be the stitchy mascot! Hope things went well with the fixing!
All fixed and I didn’t even cry! 😹 I even took care of it BEFORE the chocolate egg!
@@wildolive Yay!!!
Your key phrase is, “I have coffee.” 😊 I recently subscribed to your channel. Happy Stitching! - Valerie
I’ve tried all three and I really find the running stitch to work the best. No visible stitches on the front and the seams are very neat and tight. I originally used whip stitch but find the running stitch just as quick and I really like the finished product! Thank you!
That's great to hear! I don't encounter too many people who use running stitch, but it is a good one for this!
