Hi there! Fantastic work! May I ask if you're going to make a male version of it? Checked on your Etsy account but could not see it. By the way, want to try and make this with cork fabric. Probably need to add something for stiffness as Cork is only >1mm thickness. Thanks a million in advance.

This looked really cool but sadly the pattern is flawed? The wall piece is actually ever so slightly too wide, so the lower 57 stitch marks in reality aren't 3.85mm apart. The height is correct though and the marks are aligned correctly. At first I thought it was my printer, but I loaded the pdf into acrobat and measured it directly in the pdf and sadly the lower holes are wider apart than they should be (which in reality just means the actual width of the piece is incorrect so using 3.85mm irons across the bottom gives an extra stich - 58). The bottom of the bag (circle) is also fine, it's just the width of the wall piece that is incorrect. Wish I would have realized this before cutting and starting the line (when the iron marks started to fall short I knew something off), sad to waste it. 57 stiches at 3.85mm should have a stich line of 219.45 plus your border of 3mm on each side gives roughly 225.45 as the full width of the piece. But thanks the handy 1"x1" square we can calibrate and measure the pdf directly and see the width is showing as 228.5mm, give or take. Which means there's an extra stich worth of width slowly stretched out across all 57 holes. This unfortunately doesn't lend a lot of confidence to the other patterns you might have on your site, especially the paid ones.

Lastly, if I make this out of PU leather or vinyl, should I back it with a stiffner like Ultra Heat n' Bond? Do you have any suggestions since leather is expensive I wanted to try a cheaper alternative? Thanks for all that you do to keep us inspired! Hugs from Villa Rica, GA. ☀🌴🏖

I’ve done pretty much everything I know of BUT sewing… and patterns scare me. But I am so obsessed with this; I think I might buy the pattern and test out my skills with patterning on fabric and also practice leather stitching on scraps I have.
