❤. I’m in love with your creativity and style. I love this bag!! Can you send me the purchasing information on the leather’s so I can create this same bag? I have already purchased your pattern. Thank you so much. Glad I found your channel.
aww thank you so much! Happy to hear that :) As for the leather, the back part is Missouri by La Perla Azzurra, the main part is also an Italian veg but I don't know the tannery - bought it here in Tbilisi. Also, a 2mm Missouri is very similar to this one!
I heard the cricket and freaked out just a little! Thought it was in my studio! Ha!
I thought I only had crickets in the Wine Tote video, LOL.
Great little pattern! Thank you!!
Hi, I really like this design! It'd be great if you could add another option that's scaled to fit the Classic size that's 1.5" x 2.5" x .5"
I think I just wrote wrong numbers in the description - this one is for the classic one!
Already have it but get discouraged being able to do it justice. I have many of her patterns and absolutely love them!
Je l'ai fait en bleu 😊 Mais pas évident de coudre , je me suis transpercé le doigt 😢😂 🩹
Awww sorry about that! 😢 Get better soon!
💯👋😃👍❤️
Excellent. Thanks!
That’s freakin adorable!
Thank you :)
Link not work
Simple and efficient! 😍😍
💯❤️👍
Hi, I can't download the pattern, please help
What's the error you are getting? you can try and place another order since it's still free, maybe it was a system glitch.
@KarlovaDesign I can't find an option to download
Problem solved, dear friend
Me too
Just made this tonight and I got the bottom to fit, but the top didn’t because I think the leather was the wrong thickness. It was also really old leather that I moisturize so it could’ve worn and torn because of that but great pattern great project.
Thank you for the feedback! I am actually a bit worried how everyone will do with their materials and stuff - old leather probably wouldn't work as it might not have any elasticity left.
I have just enough to try it one more time with the pattern slightly bigger like you suggested and see if it works. I have an old piece of alligator that would just look great if it works the second time, just enough to make this size project.
@@paulpixphotos Keep in mind that alligator might not have any stretch! and it also should be very tight so it won't feel like it's about to fall off.
I am looking for the video for the cumulus or limulus bags but i cant find it. Please help!!
These come with step by step written instructions, as these patterns were created before this channel even existed. But the instructions are very detailed :) some even say they prefer written over videos.
Leider habe ich nicht verstanden welches Mittel sie zum Polieren nutzen.
Antiqua Super (probably Kenda Farben - I buy it locally in smaller packages)
Danke 🙏
Sehr schönes Muster und eine tolle Erklärung! Danke dafür !
Danke schön! :)
Thanks for the free pattern! How do I access them from my account? All I see is confirmation of the transaction but can't find anywhere to download the plans. Is this normal for paid plans as well?
If you go through the checkout process (it should still be free) you should be able to download the zip file at the end, plus if you registered you should receive an email with a link to download, just worked for me :)
@JoeBloggsRUclips Thanks. I had not seen the emails as they went to my spam folder. I was expecting a download section on the website. I've saved the emails for future use if needed. Thanks again.
Zippo make butane inserts which are not smelly and are more reliable in windy conditions. Love this pattern which I will buy when I get a printer my computer "recognises". Thank you.
You can download now and make it later, it's free until Christmas :) As for the inserts, I didn't know, thanks for the info! I will look it up - honestly, I am not a big fan of this stink LOL.
@@KarlovaDesign I have been running a Zippo for 42 years now. You get use to the fluid smell. Using a generic fluid like Ronsonol will be less aggravation to your nose. But it is a dirtier fluid then the Zippo fluid. You will have to clean around the wick occasionally running the off brand fluid.
The color looks so good and I love that the stitch runs along the edges rather than most cases that have a simple stitch line on one side . Like always gorgeous craftsmanship or…… craftswomenship? lol love your work karlova !
aww thank you so much 🥰 Yep I was surprised when I haven't found anyone making this type of cover which in my opinion is more aesthetically refined, most covers are made with baseball stitch or any other kind of side-to-side stitching like cross-stitch etc. Craftswomanship LOL! Great word.
I am going to learn leather work to make this bag. Everyone wish me luck. If I can get a physics degree then I can make this isopod bag. (thank you for this video)
You can do it :) I saw someone making the isopod as their very first leather project. And they did a great job :)
About stitching, one thing I learned very quickly was fabric needles won’t work if you value your finger tips. For leather harness needles are a must. For the stitching irons from Tandy I prefer the Pro line vs the Black irons. The Pro irons leave a nicer hole. One thing to remember is the Black and the Pro lines are not the same in stitch size. As an example the Black 2mm is almost the same as the Pro 4mm. The Pro 5mm gives almost a flat stitch. The Pro 3mm gives a nice stitch for wallets etc. For needles I prefer the John James harness in sizes 2 and 4 in the English version. In the USA they are considered 002 and 004. For thread Ritza 25 in 0.6mm. Thank you from Dallas, Texas.
That's a great input, thanks! :)
I might add that different threads give different results. The only thing I don’t like about Ritza is the colors aren’t as vibrant as some of the twisted threads. It’s great to have the large variety and brands that are now available.
My thoughts exactly. I smoke Marlboro 100's so I need to adjust the height.
What was that you used after the Tokonole for the edges to polish the leather?Jar looked black, with a black cap, but the product was white.
looks like antiqua super clear leather cream
@@brobroski1438 that's what it is
Thank you both. I'll go looking for it now.
@@KarlovaDesign i’ve seen you also use tokonole on the grain side, why/how do you choose whether to use tokonole vs antiqua?
@@brobroski1438 Antiqua is 10 times better for polishing! I just didn't know about it so I was using Tokonole.
That's a clever solution, and you've given me some ideas. I'm going to try wet-molding the front parts around a deck of playing cards for a close fit and sharp corners. Please pray for my fingers. 😉
You pronounced me perfectly
Great! Thanks again for this request! 🥰
Очень оригинально и ярко👍
You are extremely talented and i guess single and free!😊
🤣 LOL thank you
Lovely work as usual ❤ May I ask what program you use for designing your patterns? Thank you ❤
Everything that you make looks incredible! I love the style.
Trop beau 😍
Merci :)
Fun technique’s and I love the colors you used!
It looks AMAZING, this green leather is beautifull
This is a really cool idea and execution. Thank you for showing it ^^
Loved the project and really appreciated the narration as to each of the steps. Very beautiful bag. Thank you!
thank you so much! 🥰
💯❤️🙏
Where do you like to get your leather?
These I got locally in Tbilisi, we mostly have Turkish and Italian leather here
Awesome. I will be making
Wow! wicked cool, totally love the colors❤
thank you :)
Nice bag! Love the green and the brass hardware!
Hello Karlova. May I ask what software you use for your patterns? I use AutoCAD Lt.
Hi there! I work in Adobe Illustrator.
@KarlovaDesign thank you. Your patterns are beautiful.
I don't usually comment, but I really love this unique design. I've been doing leathercraft for years and have never seen someone use this quilting technique. Thank you for demonstrating, and very nice work.
Thank you! :) Much appreciated! 🥰
Le Fétiche 😍😍😍 The bests of your patterns to me!! Love them so much!! 😍😍😍😍
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Do you offer pattern making tutorials?
I do have a crash course in designing patterns with Adobe Illustrator on my website - karlovadesign.com/products/course-leather-craft-pattern-design-basics
Great idea
I watched this video three years after you made it, and I'm amazed at how creative you are if that came from making mistake after mistake; you've certainly taught me a lot, and I appreciate it. Thank you
Thank you :) The only reason I am not deleting it is all the people who (to my surprise) found it helpful :) I am glad!
