The Blue Hospital Sessions

The Blue Hospital Sessions is a project founded in 2019 by ex-members of Tricky Lobsters, a now defunct Rostock based rock band you may or may not have heard of 😃. We aim to bring together local musicians and perform original music and interpretations of personal favourites in an environment free of the restrictions of a conventional “band”. Many of us were on the road for more than three decades and while it lasted it was fun, but ultimately travelling became a bit of chore and so we decided to put our resources to better use.
Each episode will contain up to three or four songs and we hope to keep a steady publishing regiment. Plus some tech episodes about who we are and how we work.
All songs are and will be performed live with no overdubs!

Hello, viewers!
I can’t deny it; at least three people in the room during this recording are massive Cure fans. So, approaching a song that has possibly a very high “Holy Cow” factor (we talked about it, didn’t we) is always exciting but also has potential for heightened emotional responses 😃. It’s ok, it didn’t happen. Oh, it did happen, but not in a bad way. It was pure joy!
Even though this is an interpretation of an existing song, infusing it with different flavours is always part of the fun. Some of you might catch a whiff of (artist’s name here) aroma, others may hear (you tell me), and even a bit of cosmic background radiation is possible (well, it's there, definitely).

so ziemlich alle Videos auf YT haben datenkomprimiertes Audio, abgesehen davon ist das ein Roughmix, wie man auch nachlesen kann. Die Multitracks sind leider einem SSD Exodus zum Opfer gefallen. (beim Backup!!)
