@@mjolnir1122 Hmm. Have you tried installing Frosty in a different drive? I once had friends installing it in C and worked while others installed it in D and it did the trick. Perhaps it would be an idea to try the frosty fix as well? 🤔

@Geektorian I do currently have Frosty on my C drive and BF2 on my D drive. Here's where it gets interesting. I just made another profile, testing5, and V5 didn't work but V6 did. I can now get BFExpanded to run just fine on this profile. So I made an additional profile to double check, and sure enough, I'm having the same crashing issue, even though I have the exact same mods and load order on the testing5 profile. It's an extremely weird, and probably isolated issue.

@mjolnir1122 Myeah I realised in time that theres always isolated issues with Frosty. Very weird indeed. So V6 works now for you? If there are crashes they might be cos of V6 that is why I recommended V5 first because its slightly more stable

@@Geektorian Funnily enough, V5 has given me far more trouble than V6. However, I did figure something out last night. The trouble seems to be with pathing. I'm not sure if it's on Frosty side or game side, but the profile pathing is never actually deleted. For example, I made a profile called "BFE" early on when trying to make things work. I cannot get the profile to work, no matter how many times I delete the profile or moddata. When I got V6 to work last night, I made it on a profile called "test5". I made yet another profile called "BFE", did the same exact setup as I did on "test5", and it didn't work. Made a profile called "1bfe" and it worked. Made a profile called "test6", again it worked. So for some reason, old profiles that have been deleted, if there were any issues or crashes, retain the same pathing as the original. So at this point, I've made a backup of my working V6 profile, and I'm using another profile to test if different mods work with it. So far, V6 seems to essentially only able to be a standalone. Even skin replacements don't work with it.

@@shlamallama6433 Yes you can test it with Kyber but only in offline for now. Also Kyber only gives early acces to Patreon donators nowadays

for the time being, yes. But the online version is in testing. I have tried it and it works great, they are just waiting on the release of kyber V2 to release the online version

@@josh_jc36kyber is a private server platform that will replace the current mod launcher (frosty mod manager). It will allow people to play all types of mods online in multiplayer servers. It will also make getting mods a much easier process

@@dmonkeylife8012 Well they planned to make money from microtransactions. Never planned for DLCs that would ve involved more money and they didn't wanna invest more money and time.. in short terms they failed financially
