@@NCRoperator I understand Id want a new game myself but no1 is going to make one. Thats why the community does everything they can. And it is new what do you mean? They launched it in Open Beta last week

@@Geektorian I think a Battlefield (4, V, 1) is the perfect way to create a fun star wars shooter - I think battlefront 2 was missing so much good stuff (for example vehicles felt completely dogsht and heroes were way to overpowered, too few guns, too few maps and absolutely no cooperation between vehicles and infantry) - I don't like that there is no minimap, way too hardcore - and opposing to ur opinion I don't think that the majority wants to play a game like this (sweaty is not the same as hardcore) - just look how many active players battlefront 2 still has in comparison to this mod - but i respect ur opinion

@@constantinmoeller7411 Yes I see what you mean. Altough this mod came out last week. You cant compare it to a game launched with a marketing campaign behind like BF2 😃 again these are 5 people not an entire company and the mod just came out. I am also pretty sure Galactic Contention isnt arcady either and people still enjoy it. But yes there are also some who prefer games like BF2. I mean I like any kind of SW shooters but yeah if you dont like it its okay. Have you tried it tho?

@@Geektorian I didn't say that I think it's bad, and I'm aware that it's "just" a mod and small dev team, I think it's great that there is fan made content and I'm sure some sw fans play it but it just can't be compared to a game like bf2 - it's just that theres is absolutely no real competitor to bf2 and unless there is a better game then bf2 I don't have any incentive to keep playing a mod like this - if I didn't like the feel and gameplay of Arma / sandstorm in the first place a starwars reskin won't change that. There are less players in insurgency sandstorm then in bf2042 - and this says a loooot about how popular those realistic / hardcore games are

@@constantinmoeller7411 Well I guess you re right. As far as I know everyone pretty much enjoyed the mod tho'. I never played Arma or Insurgency before either. So I think that people will enjoy it whether its a 'hardcore' style or not. Until there will be something like BF2 which I doubt it. And again this is not just a reskin.. it will include 2 campaigns as well 😃 maps + weapons and probably vehicles

@@Geektorian The markets are full of these types of games. sure it might have a small playerbase but a hit it isnt ever gonna be. innovation has been lost and game teams are just copying others

@@Jake-bo1hd Well this one is unique in many ways. And theres not many SW shooter games out there. SAGAS has different mechanics and maps that havent been used in a long time. Give it a go 😎
