You know what one I am going with!! thanks again.. may good karma or what ever comes around that goes around come back and do some good for you.. on account of having to deal with this situation... they should have given you your money back and sent it back to the manufacturer as damaged...

      @@henryburness3580 do you know if your rifle is pre-remington, or post remington? Mine is after the buyout (serial on receiver starts with MR...), when quality went down. It fires very accurately, so I would hate for them to change anything that would impact that, but does not cycle well as the video shows.

      Sounds like it. Check the fuses. Not sure if there's one per door or what. But if the old one blew a fuse, replacing the fuse and hooking up the new one might fix it.

    I've got 1 of these rifles but I've had no trouble with it at all. The one I bought actually has much better fit than the 1895 I bought about 10yrs ago. All and all I'm very satisfied with my xlr and I only paid $695 for it too!

    • @seanburns1278
      @seanburns1278 4 года назад

      It's very accurate for a 30-30, I'm happy with how it shoots, just not happy with how it cycles. Marlin sold out to the company that owns Remington. My understanding is the quality of the firearms went down after Remington bought out Marlin. If I recall correctly there was something about the serial number that designated whether it was a pre-Remington rifle, or a post Remington rifle. I think there was a J at the beginning of the serial number for one or the other. You may have got a pre-Remington rifle.

    Yes there are 3 little clips down inside the grease gun end & when you tighten it you close them to fit tighter on the Zerk , also sometimes you have to loosen them to get the end off the zerk , especially if you have the grease gun locked up , ie under pressure, I ruined 3 of them before I got that figured out, so buy ones that you can put a open end wrench on

    I’ve been building driveshafts for cars ,trucks,tractors,pto,well motors,Ect,since 1973 and I will tell you for sure that the yokes on the driveshaft have got to be inline with each other,I’m not sure why Polaris does not do this but if there out of time the universal can’t work together but actually against each other and cause unnecessary vibration and wear on the other components,ie transmission,differential,carrier Brg, slip yokes ,spline shafts . I’ve just purchased a 2016 Polaris diesel crew that was at a rental facility that has 1600 hrs on it ,all the joints and carrier brg are completely wore out ,I noticed that The yokes weren’t lined up ,I assumed someone had it apart and didn’t put it back together properly,but the welded yoke to yoke assemble was out as well,I assumed it may have been twisted ,but when I got it out I notice it was not twisted but welded like this ,I’m going to remove one end and reweld it properly and reinstall the new u-joints with grease zerts so it Can be greased when servicing.i talked to a Polaris dealers Service dept ,assuming that I just had a bad one and they told me that they’re all like this ,I had a hard time believing this so I started looking online and found this to be true??

    Great video Sean but here are a few things I learned today when changing out on my 2010 King Ranch Lesson Learned 1. The wires to your door lock and windows are very hard to remove and install so be very careful to not damage them or you will end up cracking the plasted cover that the controls sit in on the door panel. 2. Pay attention to the rod that goes up from your door lock this position is very important when reinstalling the lock assembly this rod goes into the upper slot hole on the unit or you will have to remove it completely to get the rod to put the rod in the correct position. 3. The rod that attach to the door handle that is locked in place with the only lock clip that comes with the unit if you forget to move it in back of the lock assembly before you install it onto the door and after attach the small rod you will soon realize that you will have to remove the three attach screws and and the small rod again slide the assembly down inside the door to be able to attach it to the clip.

    Why did you use the yellow and the blue wires for your power and ground wire. The yellow and blue wires go from the contactor to the yellow and blue terminals on the winch. Theres no reason to use them where a red and black wire should be....unless the wires weren't the proper length and you had to do them backwards
