Very Good explanation ✅
Thanks, very informative
Dear Sir, kindly need your permission to download this video for my presentations.. Thanks in advance
Great summarized information for students and curious people about the Oil and Gas Industry. Congrats 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you
Hi could u please explain how cascade function works with low override function. There are two controllers the output of LV is in % and output of FIC will be in nm3/hr how the low selector will select low value from two diff inputs ?
Offshore oil rig layout at mat jack type rig
Worst voice ever.
Nice explanation, Thank you
very informative
Looks very straightforward
Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
Good stuff
Awesome content
Thanks for sharing
Useful ❤
where is amine tower ?
Amine gas treating can be added if there are sour gases.
very clear presentation
Great, thanks 👍
Nice explanation. Thank you.
It would be easier to understand if you used your own voice!
Very usefull thanks so much.
Thanks very clear explanation well done
Thanks for your videos, why OPsuction is going down from 100 to 80% while the error between SPsuction and PVsuction is positive?
Why you are don't talking about condebser apove the still culomn? Rich gly don't go directly to the surge drum!
Can you share to me the Excel Simulator that you used in this video to me? Or how I can get it?
nice
Thank you for the useful information
I'm watching Understanding PID Control part 4 on MATLAB channel but can't understand what Process gain is. Thank for this video, I got it
Where can I find this tuning simulator ?
I like this.I like it a lot.
hi could you please explain how to get tau D value to get the tightest control without noise?
Glycol filter used activated carbon?
Moisture is absorbed by glycol (liquid phase) in the form of triethylene glycol (TEG), diethylene glycol (DEG), ethylene glycol (MEG), etc. The moisture rich/saturated glycol will be regenerated (i.e. moisture removed) using the reboiler.
Thank you so much mr, it helps me great 🖐🖐✊
Simple yet very detailed and well explained
Nice descriptive video, please add short description of instrumentation (PCV,LIC,PIC,TT,TIC)
PCV=pressure control valve; LIC=level indicating controller; PIC=pressure indicating controller; TT=temperature transmitter; TIC=temperature indicating controller.
Thanks for your sharing, the information is very useful and easy understanding
Thank you
What it's meant by HHP ?
HHP=high high pressure. HP=high pressure. LP=low pressure
@@schoolofengineering1017 Please post offshore basic guide related to an operational / process
Kindly provide an feedforward control also
Is it true that control valve direct and reverse action depends on the fail close or fail open condition? if yes, then how to decide control action.
For fail open vs fail safe vs fail at last position, it will depends on preference in terms of requirement for safety, equipment uptime, etc. for example control valve for compressor anti-surge control, it will be fail open to ensure if loss of instrument air/signal loss (cable disconnected or PLC failure?), the valve will be full open to avoid compressor surge. In terms of how this is implemented, the valve can be fail open by the spring in actuator, using backup air supply ( from volume air tank with trip valve).
This video is amazing👌,Can you explain what is time constant for second order systems?
Nice explanation. Currently I'm working for the maintenance of Gas Dehydration Unit. So it will more helpful to understand the process system.
Hi..good to know u r working in gas dehydration..i need some explanation on working ..can u provide the same
Very useful, thank you so much
override control system: two control loops, two inputs (process variables), two outputs; only one of them is selected am I right?
it's my first time to understand it as clearly as that, thanks a lot!
proportional term of PID controller: the change in OP is directly proportional to the change in PV. integral term of PID controller: the change in OP is directly proportional to the accumulated change in PV over a period of time. derivative term of PID controller: used with slow process variables such as temperature so that the controller can act more quickly.
Process gain: the ratio between percent change of process variable to percent change of output. dead time: time needed for the tank level (process variable) to start changing after the valve starts opening (output start changing). time constant: time needed for the tank level (process variable) to reach 63.2% of the total tank level (process variable) change.
Everything okay, what will happen if the PV is less than the setpoint in both controller (Direct &Reverse) you explained about higher PV than setpoint what about lower PV please explain 🙏🙏
i think the control valve will do the reverse in each case
Valve Will be close valve after tank(dierect acting) Valve will be open valve before tank (revers acting)
