Hi Aaron, great video. I have a question for you. I want to replace my wood balusters (builder put them in) with wrought iron. The balusters are round on the top and square on the bottom. They are both tacked in. The top or bottom of the railing were drilled; however the square bottoms are not. Just tacked in. So I'd have to drill out the bottom of the knee wall wood. So my question to you is: can I by a dowel the same size of the diameter of the baluster tops to fit into the hole and then use that dowel as a jig to level the bottom of the knee wall? I know I'll need to use a level too. Or is there an easier way to match up the top hole to make the bottom holes. Thanks for any insight you can give me. I wish I could send you a picture of what I am talking about. BTW you do great work.

What size holes did you drill? What laser did you use? Do the balusters flex at all?

I plan on moving my boat to Port Orchard here soon. Right now I’m at Brown’s Point but I don’t like it there, the Port Orchard Marina is so much nicer, plus I grew up in Port Orchard so it will be like going home. Tacoma sucks!

When you showed the views of Olalla, I was able to see my old house where I grew up. I lived about a mile from Al’s and used to play in that lagoon all the time. This was an awesome sail! Thank you for sharing.

I'm super stoked I watched this video last week! It totally helped me recognize where I would find matsutakes! While I was hunting this weekend, I was walking on a trail and started seeing tons of pines and hemlocks. I saw a little speck of white popping through and checked it out. SURE ENOUGH! Matsutake! I am a pretty new forager and was NOT 100% so I only harvested 3 to take home and help ID. I was pretty sure just after smelling them...the "spicy" scent is unlike any other mushroom. I compared with catathelasma and noted the gills stopped right at the stipe, whereas the gills on catathelasma are more decurrent. I also posted on my foraging groups (I believe you're a member of at least one of my groups) and everyone agreed. Thanks so much for these videos. I never would have looked twice for one of these mushrooms, thinking I don't have the knowledge. But just watching this helped me not only ID the mushroom itself, but also recognize an area where they may be growing. :)

Those flags...aka #5 makes great mushroom burgers tastes way better then portobello also good on the BBQ grill just add salt and pepper (charcoal preferably)
