I decided to take a few steps back in order to discuss Collecting in General and especially what we accumulate over the years. Amazing coins with great detail and even better toning!
Very good video, do you by any chance have a platform where you sell them or an eBay account?
@@KYHStacking Thank you ever so much. I am more of a collector but do sell my duplicate coins. Are you based in the UK? You can always reach out to me on messenger (Dave Caldwell) with your collecting needs/wants
Hey there Mate, trust you are well and Comfortable and have had a good one , A very lovely set, I like the cobalt , magenta and yellow gold toning , to me it tells me that these are original coin's which have not been sympathetically dipped 🫥💦🏐 The market is full of blast white coin's in some cases hundred's of year's old , how they never oxidised is a great curiosity, perhaps hundred's of years ago NGC and PCGS were slabbing coin's even back then ? lol😂👍 Have a Good one 👍
@@haroldmclean3755 Doing well Pal and yes the toning always signifys an Original set that has not been tampered with. Glad you enjoyed them
Super, super coins! Love the Maundy 1d . The colours on that coin are amazing. The Florin is sublime. Also, the Half Crown, which I personally love as a design, is a joy to look at. Thanks for showing them.
@@darkelf2674 Thank you ever so much. I have to admit, that florin is, as you said, is absolutely sublime, but then again I do have a crush on early Florins.
That's for showing us a very impressive example of British coins.
@@RLC-t1x You are very welcome. Dont forget to Subscribe & smash a like 😎
The natural tone of 113 years. Each set must have aged in many different colours. Very nice contrast from the 1902 matt proofs on KE VII
@@beanbison It is my pride and joy. This set stays as is with no upgrades intended....well, not for now 😎 Thd 1902 would be a dream for me, would have to sell my Sovereigns to bag one. Thanks for your thought provoking comments.
I am just experimenting with the Premier 😎
Are you buying the sets and have them shipped overseas
@@southerncoinhunter Yes, however, I have just picked up a couple of sets from a UK sellers auction on ebay. The only positive I can take out of buying from the USA is that the sets are so much cheaper, however, once I factor in shipping there isnt much of a difference.
@@southerncoinhunter I also look for individual coins, from the larger UK Coin shows.
@LeedsLadLovesCoins i roll hunt coins and every few months I may find a coin Britian

You might be lucky with the Walker and get an NGC MS 65 + As it's a very well , fully struck example , The distractions on those high points we're not too deep to drop it into Choice uncirculated - 64 , It seems that Your Walker didn't have a tough life lol 👍🤣 Nice Nickels 👍
@@haroldmclean3755 Always great to get your opinion Harold. The next video completes my "Pre Decimal Proof set" journey with the 1911 8 Coin Silver Specimen set 😎

@ very nice 😊⚓️🧲👍
@@blisteringbarnaclesmagnets6364 The next couple of Videos coming up are pretty special IMHO 😎
It takes a long time to put a Kennedy collection as good as that together , From personal experience lately and in the past, filling those holes with quality specimens I personally find it to be a very great source of satisfaction, especially when one has been on the Hunt for some time and the Journey has been difficult , arduous and where patience has been needed, the parting of some tidy sums to do so lol🤣💦 Outstanding ! Very nice indeed Mate, Have a good one today 👍
Cheers Pal, I have to admit that it is a Labour of Love and I am so close that I can feel it in "my water" hahahahahahah. I have 4 coins on the way and 2 at auction that I am bidding for. Its gonna be that 82 P & D set that is going to take the longest to locate, especially in the right grade.
Get some brasso and give them a good shine ,,,u can polish money into them 😮

Great coins!
Cheers darkelf, The set is moving a long just fine. Have you made contact with Russell Franks (NGC) yet?
I reckon you will do very well with your Submissions 👍 I saw the King and Queen when they were in Sydney at the Opera house , It was great to see them both , Happy Hunting and have a good one up there 👍

Cheers Pal, give me a bell when you want to meet up.
Great video. Thanks so much for going through the NGC registry sets, so interesting. Is it available to anyone who grades with them? Sorry to ask so many questions, but do you submit direct to NGC yourself, or use a middleman? I have some nice proof sovereigns I want graded, along with some older USA coins. Thanks again.PS. That penny was fabulous!
@@darkelf2674 I submit my Coins through "The Coinery" and Russell Franks who is the NGC Agent based in London. If you make contact with Russell through his Facebook page "Numistackers Gold, Silver & Sovereigns". It does not cost anything to become a NGC member and gives you access to the site, including the Registry site. Let me know how you get on
16:54 I have some of the Bullion special years but the 2017 proof is a wish list coin. Great video and collection.
@@ShinyPreciousMetals Keep Hunting 😎
great sovereign
Which One?
That’s a great indicator for the accented hair. Great hunt
Cheers Pal
Nice Kennedy album. My 64 Pr got a greenish hue on the reverse blast white obverse. But not quite a grader yet it’s choice in my eyes and that’s what matters most.👍
Glad you enjoyed. I have a Kennedy Album Update (Hole Fill) coming up very soon so keep your eye open for it
I was gonna comment long time ago, are you a WW2 buff? But now I know it’s history in general which is most satisfying. History, very low grades on the viewing but important to us sailors who keep our lips sealed. Stack on world, fake is fake
I love History, Full Stop, however, I particularly enjoy Anglo Saxon History 9th century through to the 11th century.
I concur with you Lad, I did respect mum Queen, she deserved my respect. This from an American who thinks our Presidents should not be in coins again anymore. The Mexicans got money right, how much in gold and silver it’s purity year and mint and be done, let the market work the price out. Down with legal tender laws, they’re unlawful here stateside but who cares?
What did you think of the "Churchill" Piedfort?
By grace of GOD defender of the faith?
Defender of the faith = The Church of England
I blame Jefferson nickels for being a gateway to Buffalo nickels, ouch here goes my pocket
I have a few Buffalo nickels, maybe I will showcase them in a Video? Got a Jefferson Nickel Album update coming up so keep your eyes peeled
Bulldog cheeks?
??
Lad the 42-Ds we’re all still nickel while the Ps were both. The S were all silver. All those nickels are better than my album fillers, I gots a way to go👍
All my Album Wartime Nickels are 35% Silver
Oh yeah Lad wartime nickels in ms are stunning. It’s just such a beautiful design and the mint mark on the reverse oooh lah
I have some way to go to fill page 1 & 2 with BUnc gems. Any help would be well received and reciprocated
Wow Lad glad to see you had the Ike commem also. Mine is still in the OGP and am loathe to break it out. Looking for one raw tho
I have a bunch of Raw Ikes and a couple graded. Not good enough to upgrade my album, that being said, I do have a particularly NICE Blue Ike that deserves to be graded....mmmmm maybe soon
Lovely lovely album.
Thank you very much Pal
Small pointer, on Littleton albums, just open the pages and voila better camera control.
The Ike was the last true US dollar, albeit in clad and only 40% silver. The SBA only confused ppl just by changing size alone, how could a dollar be smaller than a half? Barely bigger than a quarter I got spent as such many many times out of ppls pockets and voila, nobody wants them. Yes plz do a variety Ike vid
What's NOT to Love about an Ike :))
Love Ike!
Whats not to love about an Ike?
If not illegal😂 or too expensive I’ll ship you out a couple of rolls of Unc nickels if I get the date and I got them spare in tubes. Just to help a stacker out.
Thank you very much for your kind offer, at this stage of my collecting (advanced) I am looking for specific dates (See my next Album Update that is coming very soon) but will only fill my empty spots with BUnc coins. Yep, I know that I am a snob
I love Jeff nickels got the very same album, which does a brilliant blue nickel a disservice. But only one got that deep blueish color. Modern 94-97 matte are worth a pretty penny. 😂
I have a (Hole Fill) Update Video coming out shortly
Great book Lad, wish more ppl would read it. Ah well, job done in presenting it. Lovely coins although I know a lick bout them Brits.👍
Agree with you 100%
The SBA was more a victim of change and more because of its size than actual hatred for SBA. Dummies kept spending it in vending machines as quarters causing widespread hare amongst us who fixed the coin changers but not the populace. I have exactly the same Littleton album, nice Lad very nice
I Lurv the sba's and will get have some more going for grading shortly
Our monies teaches me how any system is highest the day it’s created, from there is downhill for all fiats. Gold silver copper and nickel are still the same, but now our coinage could be seashells , tin, aluminum maybe even back to wood again. Get your dollies ready y’all
The 1927 Specimen Coronation set is my Favourite and very nice to boot
The Benji is refreshing to me especially after we went President crazy in our coinage, kinda wish we’d go back. Hence why I bought the “turkey eagle “ medal/replica whatever, it’s just nostalgia I do not care to grade it, or if I hit a privy mark. Staying home most likely
Your comments are always appreciated
That 55 Benji looked full bands but that’s from the camera am watching. Maybe be worth the attribution
Alas, under magnification it would not get the attribution
I must say our constitutional monies are purdy, but I have a soft spot for Buffalo nickels. LW halves and both Barber and Mercury dimes are my bag. Oh it’s pointless I love them all until they started turning it into tin. Carry on Lad!
I have never been a fan of the Mercury dime?
Wow you’re ahead of me on the Redbook was actually waiting to get the 2026 edition. 250th Bday of our young nation. Lad I never will tire of coins be it from anywhere they may be. 👍
Thank you ever so much for your comments, they are very much appreciated.
Disappointment in grading is just like life par for course. It’s a given either on our side or the humans grading it
Amen. I know and understand Grading inside and out yet still can't get my head around some of the grades LOL
I remember when just recently bi centennial silver proof sets were a dime a dozen, sorta. That quarter was the only 40% quarter ever made, both the half and the dollar were both made in 40% before. Keep speaking the collector/stacker language
I have so many coins that I just do not know what to do with them? There isn't that great of a market in the UK for US coinage
The 23 peace must be a D don’t think NOrleans was still open by then, off the top of my head. Excellent content , keep it coming
Spot on Pal, it is indeed a Denver Mint coin
That's an Absolutely Beautiful Set , Credit to you 👍 Gold always warms the Heart
@@haroldmclean3755 Eyup Harold, Happy you enjoyed 😎
