HI! Thanks for these helpful videos. I am new to DCS and I noticed that the Tarawa does not appear when I wish to add it in the mission editor. The other carrier do appear and I do have the AV-8B module. Was I supposed to add something? Thanks for your help and take care.

Dropdown box for the embarking task is empty, and "transportable" tickbox doesn't exist on the current build of DCS.

Hey, i know its been ages but ive had this problem for years even with a very high end pc. Only today after finally giving the harrier a go i have managed to find the solution, or maybe just reduced the amount of stutter to an absolute minimum. I went into special settings for the harrier and ticked the; disable mpcd export option. Now i barely have any stutter and i can enjoy flying my favorite aircraft. Hopefully this can help some people as it has done with me.

Thanks! I added an MLRS Smerch 300mm. In the unit's triggers tab, I have added fire at point. Then in trigger zone when the unit reaches, the AI Task push is set to "fire at point". When I start the mission, the vehicle reaches the trigger zone, but does not fire at all. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Or can you please create a very simple trigger which just make an artillery or missile fire at a point? Thanks

5 Years Later... Still no enhancements. Or Fixes. I just spent several hours trying to get it to save a template. I was putting a - in it like Rubel's template names had. Also a / for 'USA/NATO'. Finally worked after I changed those special characters. Wish it would have just warned/told me... It's better than nothing, but leaves much to be desired...

6:42 "As soon as you are travelling a straight line down the runway..." You guys! I have written off squadrons of Mossies trying to keep the module in a straight line. Doesn't fly like any aircraft I've flown before, real or simulated. I'll keep trying.

On your chain home Radar is their anyway to reduce the number of planes reported list goes to about 100 miles and I would like the nearest aircraft at 15 miles? Any help on this would be great.

Can this method of copy pasting be used to transfer a series of units and statics over different missions and/or maps? It would be very useful for me as ive created a populated carrier template and be able to grab it easily into other missions

They censor the swastikas on the Luftwaffe aircraft's tails, and the pilots flying the Mosquitos speak with an American accent? Not very "historical".

Nice to see these missions, hopefully someday in the future it will be possible with authentic aircraft. For me DCS WW2 is not there, it is where Cold War DCS was 8 years ago. I am ok with the 2 scenarios late war western front and mid war pacific, but they really have to flesh both scenarios out, especially Pacific. Give the germans a bomber and an attack aircraft, give the allied a bomber. And then you can start using the map for Battle of Britain and bring some earlier aircraft into the mix. As for pacific, I really hope that they will also do some Japanese aircraft, so you can eventually do PvP in the Pacific.

This is great! This is the types of missions DCS requires now. Easily accessable quick missions.

A battle of Britain "historical" mission with a mark 9 spitfire and late ju 88 model.... Okay... I'd have preferred they would go through the effort of making historical mission that fit the available planes.... Reflected simulation makes entire campaign like that. Which I highly recommend btw, shout to him, amazing guy, it's incredible what jetable to put out on his own!

It's a shame we can't have a truly historical BoB mission, since we don't have any early war planes available.

Based on the BOB??? Plane set is about 3 years out.

It seems to have historical skins for the Spits, but not for the 109s. Something to consider?
