That is gross!🤮 The neck bones ought to be cleaned properly in salt water. The fat between the bones and membranes ought to be removed. That’s why I can’t eat from many people house. Cooking any meat from the package is down right fowl.

You should wash the neck bones before cooking. There are pieces of loose bone, the spinal cord and all other stuff that you don’t want on your plate. Washing is a must.

However, he would pursue you and then stop before actually attacking you. The Jenny that was nearby him was making some distress calls, so she was afraid. It’s likely that he was just telling you to “back away from my girl” rather than actual aggression or desire to genuinely harm you as a way to protect his girl. That’s a good thing and means that he will protect your girl from other threats as well, he’s extremely brave to take on humans that could easily overpower him.

People are just cruel and uneducated. Apparently, and actually there has been news media on this, but for the meat to be packaged and looking decent after the animal has been killed and gutted, they rinse the meat and package it to make it clean and presentable. Cooking it is what kills the bacteria and germs. I don't care if you wash it for NINE DAYS, it's still going to have bacteria and germs until it's cooked to the proper temperature. Lay off her. I saw someone mention wear gloves. Why? It's her house. She doesn't have to show you washing her hands or her meat. It came out looking fine and as long as she and her family likes it, that's all that matters. Looks good to me and I know my ass can cook.
