Without music there can be no perfect knowledge, for there is nothing without it. For even the Universe itself is said to have been put together with a certain harmony of sounds, and the very heavens revolve under the guidance of harmony.

"It is a missed opportunity for learning from each other as human beings ~ as cultures and communities if we do not make the effort to try and understand what music means to each other.
Music is a language, an art form, a spirituality. It tells us something about the essence of another. Our chosen reaction to new and different music reveals our character, our respect for others and our own willingness to grow.."

Fender 'Drip Edge' Showman and Bergantino NXV112 with 60s ReissueJazz Bass
I see a lot of guitar players playing through BF and SF Dual Showmans and Bassmans, but they seem like a logical choice for bass players.
I acquired this 'single' Showman on a recent visit to Iowa and fell in love with it. The original Showman amps were paired with either a single 15" JBL or single 12" JBL with a patented tone ring mounting (the Dual Showmans came in 2x12 cabs, hence 'dual'). The single 12" version was discontinued due to lack of popularity.
I however acquired my 29lb Bergantino NXV112 two years ago and have been loving its depth and tight response and seems tailor made for pairing with this head.

1960s Contessa CA15 Mini Bass Tube Amplifier
Просмотров 4514 дней назад
I picked up this late 1960s Contessa CA15 Mini Bass tube amplifier, a few months ago at Vig Guitars in Saint Paul. It was rather inexpensive and too good of a deal to pass up. It seems to be a GREAT value as practice or perhaps even a recording amp for bass. It also sounds pretty good for clean guitar tones too. Its a fairly lightweight 15-18w amp powered with 2 6v6s; 2 12ax7 preamp tubes and a...

2023 Tim Reede Long Scale Cittern with 5e3 Tube Amp ('57 Tweed Deluxe Clone)

Playing my custom built Long Scale Cittern (DGDAD) made by Minneapolis based master luthier, Tim Reede. I have been obsessed with this idea of using a classic tweed amp as my "One Amp to Rule them All" for solo gigs. Already works great for Electric Guitar, Electric Bass - so why not try it with acoustic instruments. (Sure I've got plenty of dedicated acoustic amplifiers and bass amplifiers, an...

Hey...I was at that show!
Great bass's 👍
I've never seen a guitar like that one.
Gracias !! Saludos desde Buenos Aires - Argentina 🎵🎶🌺🌏🎥📷🎸
I love Stephen. His first solo album (1970) has always been a favorite of mine. You crushed this song. Thanks, Xenia!
A really nice well played song Thank you.
I was 12 years old when I saw this episode, and it really drove home what my dad, uncles, and both of my grandfathers went through in WW2 and Vietnam.
Crosby is also lional hutz’s hero for the same reason
Sounds good!👍
Thats a wishbass, Actually they are really nice bass guitars.
Yes indeed it is a WishBass. I’ve used it on a number of professional shows. But seeing as I already have 3 other fretless electric basses, I decided to experiment with this one with an alternate tuning
yourbad ass
huh.... that thing sounds a lot THICCER than i expected
I have the identical Ripper as yours same color and year 78. total beast , love the Ripper.
Love this. Thank you for the video
Got a 76 Ibanez Ripper copy, awesome bass but yes the bridge is awful. Just dropped a new set of MFD pickups in it cos the originals were weak as. Next step is the Hipshot. Glad to know it really helps it.
I like your review, so thumbs up and I look forward to more from you.
Yes, I was watching a Monkees marathon last year after Mike Nesmith had passed away, and when I saw this moment, it just gave me chills! It makes you wonder how much of our lives are predestined?
It's good to see Julie so happy playing King Crimson songs with Adrian. Her solo albums are great.
No one like him...
The Drummer is nowhere near the original part..... I would pay anything to see him again with Robert Fripp! Maybe playing Elephant Talk?
The drummer made it his own. Killing it!
Like a kid with his first whammy bar....
Such a great band. Krystal is the coolest. :)
A little Inca Roads @ 1:57 Love it!
What a blast..!!..Great to see him looking good and playing his ass off.
My daughter was breast feed on adrian Bellew, eddie Hazel, and zappa
Saw that Discipline Tour. .unreal. .great upload. .
He's a bit good isn't he
Drummer quoting Zappa’s “Andy”. ❤
Wild wild wild yes yes yes and I also heard sublime but the right ANDYKIND.
As promised he has returned and claimed his crown as king of the crud clubs😅
If I was blind I'd ask if this is Primus playing
Understandable as Primus certainly was influenced by him
@@xnmcguire That is very possible yes
I was just scrolling through youtube and saw this video absolutely unexpected, and i am very impressed. It sounds in a such mysterious (?) way, and i really like it a lot. Keep training, you are really good at it!
Adrian...........un grande.........
Wow! ❤ that was an awesome performance 👏 great job covering this classic 😊
Wow! I'm very impressed 😊 it sounds very good for just some harmonics and noodling. ❤awesome job 👏

That just begs the question, if Barney didn’t think Crosby was a musician what did he think he did?
David Crosby had MAJOR substance abuse problems. Essentially Barney was saying he looked up to David as someone who got messed up like he did.
Ahh chinga . Creí que era vieja .. jajajaja 🤣😂
Holy shit! The drummer quoted Zappa's "Andy!"
Fantastic ! Love the way you've captured the sound...nice and raw.
nowadays that'd get her in a lotta trouble, THE HOOK, yikes...
This is very nice
The Grabber reminded me I f the old EB3 LG Love the Bark!! Jack Bruce would've Smoked those Basses!
Cool song. Sounds like something off of 'Remain In Light'.
Sounds pretty good ❤ it has that perfect neil young sound.
Now if only I were a better guitarist, I would be able to do it Justice 😀
@@xnmcguire but you are a good guitar player! You sounded very good playing it 👏 😁🥰😘
