Starting calisthenics was one of the best things I ever did in my life. It is so versatile and can be done easily while traveling as well

Its not that I'm broke, its that I can't motivate myself to exercise, go for a walk, plan my diet, etc. Its all a bit overwhelming to keep track of too. After a quick fact check it does seem frozen food keeps more nutrients! I didn't know that. In fact I thought food loses nutrients when frozen. Interesting! Also the music at the start almost gave me a heart attack xD
Oh AND I forgot to add that 2 litres of water a day isnt 'easy', it feels impossible. For one, I _hate_ the taste of water, but also having to remember to keep drinking it all the time is such a hard habit to build
Hmm motivation isnt necessary though..discipline in the beginning to form habits, and then its a habit. What helps with the overwhelm is to only focus on one area at a time, so for example the walking. Maybe start with building a habit of everyday after waking up, or after lunch, you go for a 5 minute walk. You know, start as small as possible:) Haha what do you mean about the music, too loud? And regarding the water: how about tea? Or have you heard of AirUp? They sell water bottles with sort of smell pads, so that your brain thinks the water tastes like fruit or sth, but its actually pure water. And you could put that bottle right next to your laptop / workspace to have it right there and be reminded everytime you look at it. Maybe this helps?☺️
@@hnnhml Thanks for the reply! Maybe you're right. I just find it really difficult to form habits, especially living with family who dont really allow that 😅 but maybe I'm pushing myself too much so I get burnt out too quick. When I tried adding walks to my daily routine I started with 30 minute walks each day, so I only managed a few days before giving up. With water, I confirm, putting the bottle in front of me within reaching distance helps for sure! XD And also what I started doing is adding a little bit of fruit concentrate to my water, not only it makes the water a bit sweeter and tastier, but also adds colour which attracts my attention more haha. But even with that, 2 litres still feels difficult! Regarding the music, I was wearing headphones and the sound was really loud and bassy and kinda scared me haha. It was much louder than the rest of the video. Take care :)

you need 300 grams of broccoli to get 10 gr of protein. same protein is in 50 gr of steak. 50 gr of steak is half your palm. 300 gr broccoli can fill a huge bowl. vegetables are great but can never replace meats as a protein source.
@@kiaralessi that’s true - because of the volume and also because you can’t get (enough of) all essential amino acids from just vegetables. So I’m definitely not saying replace meat with veggies, I just wanted to make the comparison to show that adding protein rich veggies to a meal (that already includes other sources of protein) can up the protein content without adding too many calories:)

Apropos Cortisol, Ashwaganda supplementation (at night) can help reduce/smooth out cortisol levels in the morning.
@@lionmenmusic6144 yes! I used ashwaganda for a while and it helped me a lot. However, there are studies that suggest that taking ashwaganda supplements for longer than 30 days might cause liver damage - so taking regular taking breaks from it might be a good idea to be on the safe side:)

As a vegetarian I'm loving this video because I definitely need more protein I got to get better at that and I got supplements that I take like B12, multivitamins and vitamin c but I wish there was like a protein supplement that I could take in a tablet or pill form. I'm just not a fan of the powdered stuff
@@DavidKnicks I love that you’re taking the necessary vitamin supplements, this is so often neglected! But why don’t you like protein powders? Is it the taste? For veggie protein my favorites are greek yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs and tofu - with those I think its totally doable to get enough protein even without meat☺️
@hnnhml I don't know I just never get it right. The texture and taste just never comes out right to me. And it's just tedious to make. But yeah I like the other foods you mentioned so I will try to incorporate more of them. Thanks!!!

Why are you all bitching about 9-5? Come work with me. Normal workday 3-5 days a week. Usually 7am-8am to midnight. Off days are normally travel days. In 2023, I was home a total of 54 days. (Really, no complaint. My own choice). I'm compensated quite well for my work. As a side note, the Gen Z and Millenials I work with bust ass every day with minimal complaints. Working the same hours I do. I'm a boomer. For what I do, Google FOH Engineer.

I think I am more of type B. Started my business back in February with no plan, experience or savings. So far it’s working (just barely) but it’s true that having more financial security would have saved me a lot of my nerve cells lol It’s very interesting to follow your journey as I feel like I am in similar situation of trying to find myself and build something of my own Just wondering, do you consider yourself more on creative side or technical? Cause your part time job and side projects are all quite technical but I get a feel you enjoy creative tasks more Thank you for the video!
Happy to hear its working, barely or not;) Its never too late to start a side job - I only started that after a year of full time solopreneurship. Good question:D I think I’m “better” at technical/analytical stuff, but I don’t only wanna do that but find a way to combine it with sth creative..although creativity is sth that definitely doesn’t come natural to me 😅 What about you?
