dog y dog woof voof
He has a problem. He kinda sucks. Yeah seriously. This guy pulled sorta good numbers like a couple times and people just assumed he was the next big thing. He looks wonky mates, hate to break it to you. His technique was never a match for what the rest of team china were doing, not by a long shot. I threw up in my mouth a bit when you juxtaposed him with Li Fabin, NGL
Great videos
this aged well :D
Too much cock mass
Mmm you never know when people add weight if going to workout lots of time doesn't really translate talking about rizki (Indonesia) Akbar actually regressed when he added weight, and Akbar he is factually a better lifter than rizki .
Li Daying is a pity, once he was overshadowed by Lu, he moved up his weight and now the others, and the Olympic rule changed in weightlifting. And some athletes just naturally easier getting injured than others, and he might be one of these too. Now he barely even made lifts in Chinese national championships, very less chance he will be in 2028 LA, truly sad
This bigger problem essentially come from the tooMuchMuscle problem. He'll be good if there's a 81kg category
lol Shizhiyong could easily get a silver if he wanted. He was just going all in on one successful CJ for gold.
Hes immensely troubled by his injuries bro
Nope, don’t you watch his interview after that? He admit even he make that cj he still will get defeated, he just tried to get sliver but still failed (age, injury) he was struggling with the weight once he power cleaned
I don’t think tu yi is going to be a problem just yet, li dayin at his absolute best is still almost 20kg better in the total not to mention tu yi is of a similar age to him aswell it’s not like he’s pan yunhua’s age
olympic qualifications were absolute bullsht and fucked up so many athletes chance
I never really realised before now that china doesn't really have many new light guys anymore. CHINA! The country of light guys. Pretty weird how they used to just dominate any category under 80kg, but now a lot of their best lifters are heavier
I mean li fabin has never been beaten as a 61 and if shi was dealing with the injury he had he would’ve had another Olympic gold to his name
as china has developed and nutrition improves the bell curve distribution of people’s size has shifted to the right, meaning there are more big people and it is more likely from random chance that one of these bigger people has elite weightlifting genetics
Informative and entertaining 🙏
@@WeightliftingHouse Thanks for the inspiration.
Great video, one of the most underrated weightlifting channels out there!
Karlos himself said that he has the snatch of Li Dayin and the C&J of Tian Tao. It's unfortunate for Team China that its two top 89s have their best aspects split between the both of them If they could splice the upper body of Li and the lower body of Tian together they would have the ultimate 89kg supersoldier
I don't think it's currently worth debating his future, because his recent performances aren't representative due to him being injured.
Dude, finally a new video! I really enjoy your analysis!
Li Dayin had a problem he had "Too Much Muscle" but now it's not his muscle he has a bigger problem. I know that some of you may think this premature to say. In a way I hope he proves me wrong kind of what happened after Weightlifting House posted the original video (with him setting a world record though still not being selected to go to the Olympics).
I think Kwon Dae-hee (from South Korea) has the potential to become a world-class weightlifter at M-81 in the future. His snatch lift of 156 kg and C&J lift of 200 kg (Total: 356 kg) are high for a Junior. Rahmat Erwin and Rizki Juniansyah didn't have such high weight lifts when they were Kwon Dae-hee's age.
Wdym she went missing? Does this mean she escaped iran? Good for her if so! I hope she is safe
The next Kuo? Nah.... She's good but the heir apparent at 59kg is Luo Shi Fang or Pei Xinyi.
ChenGuanLing 98 Snatch + 119 C&J as 55kg definitely so much Big Improvement only 1 year Her Debut on International Stage
ty
Holy shit this edit is perfect.
THANK YOU
I mean, Ri Song-gum is at 125 kg as a 49, which is official. Also, their total is the same. No doubt in my mind Ri will officially overtake this one within the next year.
🇨🇳The Best Lightweight You've Never Heard Of🤔 Tian Yuan unofficially broke the clean and jerk record of the old 48KG class at Chinese nationals in 2012. With a 126KG clean and jerk, beating the world record at the time by 5KG (set by 2004 Olympic Champ Nurcan Taylan of Turkey whose record would get popped leaving this lift 6KG over the 48KG record). Not only does this lift beat the old 48KG record by a lot it also beats Ri Song Gum's current 49KG record by a Kilo and tied Ri Song Gum's world record total of 221KG (she made a 95KG snatch). Making Yuan's total here the best performance of a sub 50KG lifter ever by Sinclair. Despite this her career never really ended up the way she wanted. She won worlds in 2011 with a 207KG total and attempted to break a world record in the clean and jerk at Asians in the same year. Though she never was able to qualify for the London Olympics. China instead sent future gold medalist Wang Mingjuan. From then she only appeared at the Asian games in 2014 where she bombed out.
I'm still sad we won't ever know what he could have hit as an 89. He tied his total from Colombia in 2 lifts at the AWC 23 in Jinju (albeit he missed his first opener at 170). After that the tried to put together a 398 total (WR) by attempting a 223 C&J twice.
he was a 96 at that competition in JInju, the world is 416 and the guy he would have to beat for it would have been very difficult. The world records at 96kg are 187kg (snatch) and 231kg (clean and jerk)
@@diveshkr4127 He was 89.43 kg in at the AWC 23 in Jinju... The reason he wasn't in the 89 is because he already had a total for Paris, while Tian and Li didn't.
@@AdStellae- and you have just re-in-forced my earlier statement. I understand he wasn’t ‘96kg in body weight’, but he falls under that category. You have to actually think about the minor details too, athletes in the 89kg (at the top end), are cutting weight to get to 89kg, whilst Liu wasn’t, so you cannot make a direct comparison in saying ‘because he was 0.43 kilograms heavier he *technically* could hit a world record’. The factors contributing to the performance are different. Karlos, for example, who weighs more than 89kg; has to cut weight or constantly monitor his weight to make sure he is within bounds; to get to 89kg and he still manages to hit WR. Liu was just maintaining weight/ gaining so even though he didn’t gain much the circumstances leading to his performance are different. Karlos weighed around 90kg and hit 226kg, and nearly 183kg; you wouldn’t count that as a WR at 89kg.
looks just like his 233kg from Asian games. That's some insane technical consistency for a guy who gained 20kg
@@bulletproof_ben even his celebration is the same
🎉
Also add it to the tiny list of double bodyweight snatches. She never had to cut weight
😂😂😂
As far as I know this is the best snatch by Sinclair for a female lifter. Crazy to say the least.
What is then actual metric? And what is it compared to numbers 2 and 3?
@@bougieweightlifting What?
@@AdStellae-what’s the actual Sinclair number. And then, who occupies the #2 and #3 spot
女兒🎉🎉🎉
thankyou 🎉🎉you.are.my.dakther
Su is packing a meat missle
It’s not 212kg tho is it
That’s their total
her jerk is incredible. watched her last c&j at 2023 asians like a hundred times
Taipei. Oh Taiwan you mean
Chinese Taipei
@@jay17737 Taiwan
Taipei is a state in taiwan
@roylee2978 also a city been there
@@roylee2978You don't refer to someone's nationality by the city they live in. Taipei is what the Chinese chose to call Taiwan as they don't recognize it as a sovereign nation. Otherwise china insisted they were simply the ROC and shouldn't have their own team.
Chen GuanLing recently set new junior world records at junior worlds. Making a 217KG total in the 55KG class. While she did win worlds last year she improved her performance from then by 13KG. If she made this performance in the Tokyo Olympics when the 55KG class was an Olympic category she would have won bronze. If you go back even further you can compare this performance to another Taiwanese lifter Hsu Shu ching. In Rio she won gold in the 53KG category with a 212KG total. Before this she set a 233KG total world record in the category at the 2014 Asian games which would stand until the categories were reset. That total currently ranks her as the third highest female lifter by Sinclair (source ironwise). Hsu was 23 when she set her world record total. Chen will be 23 in 2028, if she has the same rate of progress it will be very interesting to what kind of numbers she will put up in 2028. Potentially battling it out with the current world record holder Kang Hyon-gyong of North Korea. Junior Worlds is a great place to see the next generation of lifters. I have a video on it coming out soon so be aware and subscribe to my RUclips channel for more weightlifting videos.
song name?
We got Deng Wei edit before GTA VI
Top tier edit
Kinda mad we didn’t get to see her one last time in Tokyo
@@bougieweightlifting heck she could've won in London IMO. Without Toma in Tokyo nobody would've stopped her even if she wasn't 100%. She could have even pushed on to Paris (she's only 31), her best total as 64KG was tied to Olivia Reeves total at Paris.
Luo is making a fine replacement. 250 total coming soon.
For sure and she will probably break Kuo's clean and jerk record. Wonder if Pei Xinyi will move up to the 64's. She already won worlds at 17 like Deng Wei.
@@SomeSeriousWeight I mean, I guess it depends on what she hits in Bahrain in December, there's 4 years until the next Olympics. By then Pei might have overtaken Luo.
🐐
China put some makeup on dudes 😂
