For a new bike choice, you should take a serious look at the Shercos! They're the closet thing to the YZ250X! Except with start button,hydraulic clutch, wide ratio tranny,electric fan, Brembo brakes, engine map swith(that really makes a difference) and importantly, the KYB suspension! I know this is 2 yrs old, but you installed them backwards. They might work either way, but the correct way should present an angling that doesn't interfere with the passenger pegs and passenger's legs.

I went with the '24 250fx and I love it, Ill say Im fairly new to riding so thats why I went 4 stroke. Ive ridden older cr125s but I just love how little maintance the 4 strokes are and how easy it is to learn on, I mostly ride trails but I would love to get into harescrambles. Can you enter a 4 stroke with electric start into them just for the fun of it?

I got a CRF and it seems like the KLX has more grunt and it sounds better if that’s stock. My last name is Hirasaki and I’ve been called Kawasaki half my life so I never dared ride one. (Singing) “Hirasaki on his Kawasaki.” So I always rode red.

That was pretty good. I don't normally watch other riders cam video but yours was really good and I was impressed how well the KLX ran. You were right on the leaders heals for a long while. Video quality was excellent too. I haven't been on a hare scramble in 30 years. Love to try it again in the old farts class.

Liked the video on the Kawasaki KLX 300 oil change but try doing your oil change outside to save your carpet and without resting the bike on its side .. Of course there are carpet cleaners and there are also oil pans made of plastic to collect the old oil when doing the bike’s oil change. Wishing you a great time and much fun riding safely out there. !!
