Junny Ocasio is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under the legendary Murilo Santana. He is the 2023 IBJJF Black Belt NoGi Light Feather World Champion, 2023 NoGi Europeans Champion and, 2023 NoGi Pans Champion.
A veteran competitor on various elite pro stages such as Who's Number One, Kasai, Fight2Win and IBJJF, Junny trains out of Unity Jiujitsu School in NYC. Versed in both Gi and No-Gi, Junny has a wealth of knowledge and is often considered a leglock expert.

Watched and bought the instructional. I wish there was more clarity on the breaking mechanics; is all the torque with the arms and your are just pinning the knee with your hips? or are you also extending with the leg that’s reaped?

Like why pull? There's pros and cons to pull and go right away or pull seated and staying connected

Any thoughts on doing a cradle from there? I've found it's a lot easier to move around once my hands are locked bc he can't invert but also at some point i have to let go the grip lol

@@JunnyOcasio That’d be terrific. Absolutely loved this because videos about how to control and maintain a position are so rare. Most videos focus on the moves that are possible from positions. But as a white belt learning these positions, if I can’t maintain the position, then I won’t even have the opportunity to try the different moves… (Been having fun working through the control scheme in your RDLR instructional for the last 3 weeks as well.)

The toe hold could work, but if I'm being honest, it encourages rotation, which is what we don't want.
