Air of the Whale - Ty Alexander Huynh
Просмотров 1194 года назад
This could be the theme song for the whales. I was inspired to write this bagpipe air from the story behind the Irish song Port na bPúcaí (Song of the Fairies). The composer, Muiris Ó Dálaigh, is said to have been fishing with friends at night off the coast of Ireland when they heard strange melodies coming through the hull of their boat. They didn't know what the sound was, but he composed Por...
Rainbird - Ty Alexander Huynh

It's National Bird Day remembering the plight and exploitation of captive birds. I'm releasing Rainbird today because I felt cold oppression when I composed it. I also couldn't record decent vocals because of respiratory problems, so I turned to making more instrumentals. Rainbird expresses my feelings, like a small bird in a freezing rain storm that kept on singing, and flew off when the weath...
The Inner Light (Picard's Ballad)

This is my version of the theme song from "The Inner Light" episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. I added a bridge to the original tin whistle melodies of the two episodes where Captain Picard plays the flute - "The Inner Light" and "Lessons." Captain Picard identifies himself as a very active, committed, and dutiful officer, who looked for years to find a way back to his Star Fleet life w...

Dynoing with Supercharged Triumph Rocket 3
Between the sound of the lathe and the music, I can't understand a word being said.
I will have to post the video with captions sometime.
Absolutely beautiful stick, love it..
Thank God, someone who understands that a tipper should be solid wood.. we'll done, I'm fecked off with these eejits using bbq sticks as tippers..
Not sure why you hate the "bbq stick" tippers as I'd use them for the brushing sound they make. Still my favorite tippers are the ones Brian made for me.
Thank you for this. Miss you dad.
You're welcome. I did not realize Brian passed some years ago. The tippers he made for me are what I still prefer to use. Peace and joy be on his soul and on your family, through Christ Jesus. Amen.
Brian made me a couple of beautiful tippers many years ago. One of which remains my favourite. He was a lovely man, and sorely missed by the Bodhran community
Brian made 2 beautiful tippers for me 7 or 8 years ago. Thanks for giving me a chance to see the process!
I would love yo have one of those machines. A tipper gratter.
1st I know Molter and Andrade 3rd mercado and Gersky 4th Moreno!!!! Pinckney!!!! Why they skip second though??? When I was there I was 4th plt and I had MORENO N MERCADO Loge those guys!!!
Bro Why does it look like they’re just round stepping? We March!
HUMP!!!! He was an awesome drill! Drill sgt of the cycle!!!
I graduated March 2020…I’m just checking to see if I can see any of my drills
I am you great
How did the recruits get awarded the soldier of the cycle??
It's constant display of leadership, discipline, PT and other intangibles that the drill sergeants agree upon. At basic training, it's really easy to tell whose about the Army and whose not so you can really stand out from the rest.
i graduated that day!!!! except our company got covid do they wouldn’t let us graduate with everyone (Delta Company)
@Drew House Bravo Company?
I through you were something different from graduation?
Yes, I graduated from Fort Jackson not long ago and we had short sleeve dress blue
@@Nathan-jh1ho yeah we graduated in OCP because not everyone had been assigned all of their ASUs sadly. It was so hot in those uniforms though. I remember the first thing on my mind was water
I thought this was pretty cool i enjoyed this good luck to everyone of those soldiers out their on the battlefield (god bless you all!!!). 🙂❤️
That's my graduation, been lookin for it. Thank you.
What company were you. I was Battle.
@@josephpalma3192 Chaos
Can family and friends attend with covid and all?
@@christopherconner7854 No they can't. Its a hazard. Sorry it took so long to reply, I didnt see it till now
@@josephpalma3192 Thank you both!!!
age 59 wow, alot has changed from 1976 outstanding Troops.......
Yeah he graduated with me I was there he was actually a sergeant first class and he got out but wanted back in but his recruiter told him he’d have to go to basic again over sum guidelines shit you can search it here on RUclips too they made a documentary on it too I remember when I was a trainee he was in a different company and I seen him step out of the DFAC once with like 2 or 3 trainees standing at parade rest for him and I was like “huh?? But he’s a trainee??” Shit was weird bro lol
I wish wood workers would not try and dictate where on the cipín I want to hold it......grand lookin, but not for me thanks
Maybe that's how the customer wanted it. As a wood turner just tell us what you want it to be and we'd be more than happy to accommodate you.
David VanVranken David, what most bodhràn players want is what many people would call a stock, both traditional and modern styles. From 9-14mm, parallel, and on mine I like a nice 1" long nail in one end to add some weight if I'm playing with a louder crowd. People like www.tippermaker.de/index.php/en/shop/macassar-tipper know bodhráns and bodhrán players, and the straight stick, brushes and even the more radical whipper tippers are what you'll see among the new breed of players, hell I've played a week in Kerry with a strippef branch from an ash tree
Is that a Hannah hat? I just purchased a similar one and they're just great. Interesting video btw! :)
I'm not sure if Brian's cap is a Hanna Hat. I have a similar cap made by Mucros. Thanks for your comments.
Not sure if anyone cares at all but I just hacked my girl friends Instagram password using instablaster. Find it on google :D
@@geralddamien4887 Why the fuck would I want your girlfriends password?
never went backwards around BIR
My Supercharged Triumph Rocket III was worth around $30,000 USD.
How much? this Motocicle
does this not affect handling?
I would fit a car tyre for the cost, straight line grip, and longevity......but ONLY if i could get assurances from the insurance company and the Rozzers that it was completely legal and not going to effect a claim..(and i hardly think that would be the case..shame).
silly way to save a few bucks. if there is such a market for THESE types of tires on THESE types of bikes, then why are the tire makers not producing motorcycle tires that more resemble a car tire than a bike tire? you've turned the handling characteristics of a two-wheeled motorcycle into that of a 3 wheel trike, if that is indeed what you were trying to do, you succeeded.. congrats. not completely knocking it, i really enjoy the handling of a two wheeled motorcycle over a can-am trike.
@dkjohannes Very right. When I had a Pirelli Diablo on the rear of my Rocket, it lasted about 3000 miles. My car tires have always exceeded 10,000 miles. Car tires handle fine. They just have different characteristics and need more effort to corner than round tires.
Any tyre can corner, bike tyres just do it better. P.S. Uk statistics, crusier/tourers have less accidents, tend to be older more mature riders, higher insurance payouts due to vehicle cost. Flat tyres would give better braking / acceleration but poorer cornering. Only suitable for big crusiers which already have fat rear tyres.
@mark675 Mark, I race a 675 so I understand how bikes corner. I've seen many, many more sport bikers bite it than cruiser riders. Bikes are all just rides, mate, and we're all Brothers so won't you make kind comments for once? We ride because we enjoy bikes and our fellow riders. If you're riding for other reasons then you might want to look at what's really important in life. Anyways, if you payed any attention to the video, it wasn't my bike that lost it. My Rocket goes around corners great!
@RiderRocketman Shame. It sounds nice up until the mic cuts.
@neilyoungster thanks! u cruiser riders are more 'organ donors' than sport bike riders cus u cant ride and cant make the bike go round bends even if you wanted to! lol thats why u resort to fitting car tyres in a desperate attempt to make them handle! get a proper bike in the first place.. job done
car tires are not for cornering on a bike
yeah course it does, ill get onto triumph for you and ask them what theyre playin at puttin bike tyres on a bike, and maybe motogp riders will catch onto it and start realising how much more handling and grip they can get with a car tyre, who cares if you can build an engine, you probably cant ride round bends for shit so u wouldnt know the difference
Dude, this is the last time I'm saying it, I've ridden for 20 years, I can take apart and rebuild my own engines, and I've ridden both "standard" and darkside tires. Have you ever ridden a darkside? If not then you're just a blind guy shouting that colors don't exist. Anything you think you know about tire dynamics goes out the window when you actually RIDE it!
thats the biggest load of shit ive ever heard! car tyres are made to sit flat on the road not lean!! so no good on bikes mate!
Manufacturers don't use em because if some chump is buying a $200+ tire every 10k miles, why in hell would they want you to buy a $100 tire every 30k?
Not true there buddy. Not everybody rides a crotch rocket or a bike that can lean that far to begin with. My bike is a 1600cc cruiser and my floorboards drag at about 20 deg lean ANYWAY. So yes I ride safer and corner better with a car tire, because the sidewall actually HELPS traction at that low lean. Plus I can ride through gravel, snow, and grass. And the majority of darksiders don't do it cause it's cheap. Ever rode one? Or are you just speculating?
That's because you don't know how to corner properly, or you ride a trike, or you ride like you are riding a trike! Car tires a bullshit on bikes - if they weren't cheaper no-one would use them.
HOLY SHIT!
Dumb fuckin yanks! why dont bike manufacturers use them if theyre that good?? wrong profile for a start! unbelievable stupidity
I corner faster, safer, and more confidently with a car tire - if you haven't run one on your bike, then don't pretend to know what you're talking about.
What a waste. People should just GIVE to charity... because they should... all this shaving... silly
it sounds like a diesel engine...
Watch my riding videos: Sport Riding on the Darkside or one of the Sport Riding at TWiSTAR vidoes or my videos series Rocket Sport where I tour Colorado, Utah and Lake Tahoe. Car tire is more effort but well capable of doing sport bike STREET cornering speeds (not track racing speeds which is way fast, more than triple posted speed limits).
With this much power, car tires work awesome! Last 3 times longer, stick like crazy glue and I can still woop sport bike butt! I use Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R on the rear.
Honda just discontinued the vtx 1800. They will have an answer next year for this bike that will put the motorcycle world on its ear!!!!
Tiny House Productions no they won't haha
shame,that was a really cool beard.Please re-grow it.
The sound sucks on the full throttle runs. Sound pressures were so high that my camera's mic got overloaded. Ouch! Good thing I wore ear protection!
The rear Yokohama is doing fine. I have about 6000 miles on it and tread depth looks like it will last to at least 13000 miles. Tire life was never a big concern since I got 8000 to 12000 miles on the stock Metzeler. It's the traction benefits that have me running the performance car tires. Only con is that cornering aggressively requires more countersteering effort so it isn't the best for sport riding but will work as you can see by my other Rocket videos.
RR..How does the rear tire work out.... any pros and cons ..?? I'm still running Metzeler ME880 Marathon 240/50 R16 on the back of mine so far not as much wear as other have. Some are replacing it at 3500 miles too soon IMO.
You guys have to pay closer attention. Read the captions. I lost my camera, not the bike. You can see me riding off when the camera settles on the pavement. GOTCHA! Damn funny if ya ask me. You want to see how the car tire really performs? Check out my three Rocket Play videos in my video list.
