It’s like telling the Italians to respect other people because well look! the Romans treated Germans as barbarians, which led to their downfall! History doesn’t work like that. Also you don’t respect others because they might be strong one day. Mutual respect is just basic human decency

American-Thai right here..Grew up in LA 70s, 80s, 90s...Left the States to live with my fam in Thailand..I see so many Thai folks acting like koreans are just the shit...it's a joke. Thais look down on themselves.. They love to act like korean food is better...some of it is good but it aint got shit on Thai food imo. Look at the average korean girl with no plastic surgery...they're hella fugly. They aint half as good looking as the most basic looking Thai girl imo. America aint the greatest..but... the koreans took what we do...they bite all our shit..from fast food, to fashion, to music and entertainment...they bite and copy our style to the fullest. As a Korean, I feel kind of sorry and embarrassed when I see videos like this. We're making progress from that kind of ignorance these days, but ignorance and hate are still everywhere in this country. What I mean is, there's so much hate between Koreans. Men and women hate on each other, people hate on certain jobs, young and old generations hate each other, and so on... When compared to our neighbor Japan, it really feels low-class. I feel like I've seen people make condescending comments out of ignorance, just like in the video, and they don’t even realize it’s rude. How frustrating must that be? Koreans seriously need more EDUCATION

Hmm I have been really intrigued by Korean culture due to Kdramas and decided to learn Korean for fun😊 I like learning languages. But all the discourse I hear about Korea online makes me feel discouraged because then I keep questioning what’s my purpose to learn Korean am I planning to go there is yes how will survive there being a brown person. Little conflicted although I do understand not everyone is like that !!

I know many foreigners who visited SK only have good things to say about the country. Just because some have bad experiences don't represent the whole country. US has mass shootings all the time, do people see us all the same? People who talk trash about Korea on the comments are the ones who never visited. I don't understand RUclipsrs who live in Korea on purpose so they can make videos to trash on Korea. No country is perfect including yours. America existed longer than SK, but people are still racist here.

Koreans like many Asian countries have been brain washed into colorism hating the refection in the mirror. Besides everyone is racist all shades all sizes. A Korean outside of Korea gets no special treatment and like all Asians one is called Chinese unless one is more familiar. So just like Many Koreans are ignorant many none Koreans are too.

While I know that this is just a generalization and does not apply to everyone, this has contributed to our family decision to drop all Korea bound trips and travel to other countries instead.

Sorry but this is all true. I hate that they never show the average Korean, just the “enhanced”. They do have the best plastic surgery. I don’t even care for KPop anymore because they tend to look and sound the same. For me it’s PPop, authentic live vocals, all different individual in a group. Im from Canada and I like Korean media. But i worked with some Koreans and they give zero F about me lol. They're super exclusive from the general crowd. They rather not talk to me at all. Who cares just focus on a good life.
