    I learned in Chi gung class as well. I tell clients when they are shaking they cannot simultaneously hold tension in their bodies. I invite them when they take breaks from the computer to do this exercise to get chi flowing and to actually feel their body. Sitting at the computer teaches us to forget our bodies are there as we are pulled into the screen to problem solve for hours at a time.

    There are many components to treating depression naturally. One place I discovered which successfully combines these is the Martos Magic Method (google it if you're interested) it's the best plan i've seen. look at the awesome info .

    Hi, I love this video for the way it explains so many aspects of long term stress. I would like to ask for permission to use this video for training purposes as I feel it would greatly benefit the foster, adoptive, and Kinship families whom I train. I am doing a presentation for a national conference in June and would like to be able to use this video if I can. The course is called, "All Stressed Up and Nowhere to Go."

    The mind-body connection is closely linked to the endogenous cannabinoid system, which plays a key role in regulating the psycho-neuro-immune system. Google the work of two doctors and two researchers, Dustin Sulak & William Courtney (MD & DO) and Raphael Mechoulam & Robert Melamede (scientists, researchers). I assure any reader, including the owners of this wonderful video, the information re: the endocannabinoid system holds great promise in treating stress-related illnesses. Thank you.

    Thank you for the video. I have found that with my clients the more they come to understand the physiology of stress, the more it empowers them that they do have some control over their stress. It often shifts them from being externally located to internally located.

    Emily...Jesus forgave our sins once and for all when he died on the cross. Try to get a hold of Hal Lindsays's cassettes and he goes in to depth biblically as to why we should not have this guilt every time we sin. It helped me.

    I'd be even more stressed, if I willingly acted on sin. :( It would be far worse. So I'm happier with my faith, rather than give it up just to act on my whims.

    i dont mean to offend your faith but maybe you should think hard on wether u want to live a life of stress worrying about sinning, or maybe sin every now and again and not be stressed. what worried me is how it can be related to health problems and such..

    Have been doing 20min trail running or mountain biking every day for two months so far, with a 5min soft belly halfway in, sitting on a log. Now I crave the session, it REALLY helps. Along with Omega3's, typtophan, phenylaline and zinc, life is better. THANKS Dr. Gordon! Great demo on this clip, but the woman distracts from the narration because she is SO beautiful, with VERY sexy lips.

    The combination of exhaustion and ever present stress of worrying about sins and repenting - it becomes too much for me at times.

  • @EmilyGloeggler7984
    @EmilyGloeggler7984 15 лет назад

    The only thing that seems to eleviate the stress is being around my family and friends, although whenever a sin happens to pop into my mind or if I commit it - it makes it hard for me to concentrate in their prescence. Which in turn makes me look inconsiderate. But of all the stress-eleviating tips that helps the most, as well as having a hot bath with aromatherapy. :)

    I have extremely bad spiritual stress - it has effected my life profoundly and because its related to religious issues, that I care about, it takes every bit of mental strength to deal with them on an daily basis. In specific, its my constant battling with sinful behaviour - it takes so much out of me that its cost me precious sleep over a period of 4 years and I've lately become apathetic and because of the lack of sleep, ironically, its become harder to fend off sin. Its like a downward spiral
