I think these figures would correlate very highly with research on teacher burnout which has never been carried out to this high level of research. Teacher burnout is huge and for the same reason. Irish policymakers never mention the word burnout it is shameful. There is NO public policy to deal with burnout in education or higher education or health or any of the so called front line service providers. Burnout isn't real and doesn't exist! University Students are reporting it and saying how sad it is that nothing is being done about it and I agree easier to live in denial certainly a lot 'cheaper' in the short term, Way too much unnecessary pressure.
