I am no where near the player you are, but why wasn't 9-10-11 the pick in game 3? I'm with you that he has to take 843 and you deny him a lot of space and have a little bit cleaner path to the wood port. Also sets you up to completely cut him out of the board with an early yop-rb-mono. I love your gameplay and have learned a lot from you, and I've watched you play those out differently in past seasons and not leave anything up to chance even if it means a "slower" start

recently started watching your videos and have been watching every single one all the way through. love your commentary because it helps me learn. but I am curious in the last game why the wood port had higher priority over the 9 6 5? I felt like that spot was in danger and the wood port would become a lot less valuable if you lose that spot? cheers and looking forward to the next one 😁

@thephantom you are making choices in your game based on what has rolled previously, such as favoring a block that did not roll for a bit. This is incorrect, dice does not remember rolls. Imagine you have a crazy game with ten consecutive 2 rolls. Imagine now that you take a break for a year before you come back to the game. Do you think the dice remembers to not roll 2-s? I really hope you see this, this should be a measurable way to improve your game. Love your channel!

You've only missed out on building one road when you've accidentally spaced in the first game, you've looked at the wrong hand in replay

Great games! In game 2, you can still fight for longest road even after the plow. Your max road length is 14 if you wrap around the 8 sheep instead of going for the wood port.

Always enjoy watching your games! I do find the fascination with blocking the 4 wheat in the last game a bit funny when he had a city on the 9. I would have tried to slow down him printing roads.

You have a habit of committing roads when you dont need to. Really think it could change a lot of games if you didnt do that. Like at 18:09 where you commit to 8 3 5. There is no need to commit. You most likely lose that game anyway, but I feel like there are a lot of times, where you say you think you have to risk, when in fact you don't have to. Just a thought. Really enjoy the videos <3

Love your content! I was wondering.. have you ever made, or would you consider making, a video about the "golden rules" of 1v1 ? There's a lot of tips that you throw out while you play your games.. such as.. always pick the good ore spot if you can, etc. I would really appreciate a list of "rules" that you go through when making your decisions.

I think for the last game, you needed to keep him off the wheat other than the 10. All the games I've seen where you've stuck to that you've won.
