New Covent Garden Market was often out playground for mischief and this still fully exists and operates and the Savona Estate where I lived in both Stewarts and The Sally Roads and backs on to the infamous Patmore and Carey Gardens Estates are still EXACTLY the same as they always were. Seeing how Nine Elms has shot up with such speed, is nothing short of a miracle when you consider the number of failed and thwarted attempts to regenerate the iconic Battersea Power Station which I had Never been be or inside in my 5 decades. Yes the US Embassy move was inspired financial thinking seeing as they got the most high tech fit for purpose and future new location and $$$ change from the sale of their former Grosvenor Sq site as well as influential in kick starting what was an industrial wasteland before. Yes it's true the housing is only for the Super Rich, but the benefits of new transport links, upscale shopping and beauteous improved structural environment benefits Everyone. The location and park connecting Vauxhall to what eas the Best Park in London IMHO are wonderful and I can see no genuine downsides, beyond the fact that I am not in position to nostalgically invest and benefit myself. Similar could also be said if the nearby Elephant and Castle regeneration - the 3 areas I would be buying or moving to, if I had the wherewithall.
