I cant even believe this corruption issue is up for debate. It is crystal clear. I feel like even though we are all watching the same movie, we still see it differently. It makes no sense.

I laugh when some people say Dangote is the richest Nigerian. The richest Nigerian is a criminal politician. Even a director in NNPC or CBN could be richer than Dangote, given how much is being stolen in Nigeria 😀

@@raphduru9787 A criminal politician will never be considered richest because his riches are people’s money, not from investment or inheritance. Dangote is the richest because of his source of money which is purely individual creativity. That man is the most brilliant and successful man of our generation.

The fact is, just because we get good returns on investments doesn't mean we are not corrupt. Let's start from the police then add customs, then government offices and even private institutions. Things that are against the law in many parts of the world are allowed in our own country. Let's be upright at all times. It takes one person to change the narrative

I beg to differ how many companies have closed gates or collapsed in the last 10 years. How much did CBN and NNPC invest in Dangote Refinery? Let's be honest ans balanced in our coverage. How much did Elon invest in Spacex and how much is it worth now? The business climate in Nigeria at present is toxic and harsh for those without political backings.

A country can be corrupt and opportunist at the same time. You should give your commentary and explanations more thought and depth.

Janesdeen: If you go by historical antecedents to the present day, scholars have extensively studied corruption and opportunists, but you don't find the complexities and subtle angle in the mainstream media. Corruption and opportunistic tendencies exist on a continuum and are reported differently depending on the media interest and culture of the corrupt and the perpetrators.

It depend .You can get a lot of money in the sectors like agriculture, sugar ,oil , ciment...The most importante is to discipline yourself and focus on your target ! Agriculture attracts a lot of Money. The problem sometimes is not how many money you make but how you manage your money .People need a good mindset and skills in Financial Éducation.Just start and believe in God and yourself and choose your area and work very hard , you will achieve your goals. You need to plan your life and project yourself in the future. For example ,you can write in the wall of your bedroom what you want to achieve in the 5 years ahead ! May God help you and us to achieve our goals ! Thks

@tonyodukwe majority of you guys are lazy.
      We don't want to work.
I give you an example,I had an opportunity in 2015 to access some hybrid seeds of grain like maize ,millet and sorghum.
I reached out to one of my guys looking for job in Lagos so that we can work together,I needed him to come to the north just to farm for 6 months so that we can catch out.
The man that gave me the link is one of the director in fadama and he took me to the village head who allocated 3 acres of land for me free.
I couldn't leave my job but I did my calculations and I realized that the yeild on the land can pay my salary 3 years but my friend declined and even insulted me that why would I advised him to be a farmer and he declined.
The following year I took the bull by horn and farm myself and I did visit the farm every weekend and low and behold I was able to get 350 bags of maize, 168 bags of milliet .
Maize was 17000 per bag then .
The truth is that I didn't take it seriously.
Just in 3 months I was able to harvest maize , store it in one of my rooms and sold it when the price appreciated.
I didn't even use the entire farmland.
Government can't solve people problem but once you have an open mind, you can strategically positioned yourself

How much to start a bank today in Nigeria, you'all have made the entry criteria so difficult, messed up the economy, today 20 million naira is mere 13k dollar or 12k you see the difference in inflation 5 million dollars when he started today 5 million dollars is more than 7 billion naira.

You can be wealthy if you’re smart, persistent and know what you’re doing
