Welcome to Our Salty Life! We're Daz, Lee, and our furbaby, Oz the Aussie Shepherd. We're a couple of not so grey nomads from Torquay on the stunning Great Ocean Road in Victoria. We've ditched the 9-5 grind and are living our dream of exploring this amazing country full-time in our Zone RV caravan. Off road, off grid - here we come Warroora Station!
The south entrance road was closed so it took us 5 hours to do the 150ks from Carnarvon to Lagoon camp - despite the corrugating and the mud puddles - we made it!!

Kingston RV Park on South Australia’s Limestone Coast is a credit to the Kingston SE council. Upon arrival there is a water fill up point at the entrance with plenty of parking for big rigs. Southend Bush Camp is an absolute gem tucked behind the sand dunes on South Australias Limestone Coast. The sites are all very generous and we would have had no trouble fitting our big rig on to any of them. Nice video guys. Used to to go to Rapid Bay around 6 times a year back in the days when I lived in Adelaide. Great spot! Was really nice of Sue and Derek to lend you the tinnie. So much to see around the cliffs from the water.
It was so nice of them - they’re lovely people. And it was a great experience seeing it from that angle- it’s made us want to buy a boat now!
Can swim here or water very cold ?
Definitely swimmable when we were there in February
You should come back in the winter and see those beautiful green rolling hills that alone is worth another trip. Enjoy.

I see cann river has changed a bit since I was there 12 years ago.

So many things that are easily confused. The adaptor doesn't change the amps to 15a from 10a, it just changes the plug size (and adds the mandatory 10a overcurrent protection) so you can only draw 240v 10a maximum. Your inverter taking 32amps from the battery (at 12v) means it's sending 32 * 12/240= 1.6amps at 240v. Yes, using spare battery capacity of the tow vehicle to power the caravan is a good idea, just don't get confused by the magic numbers game.
