@@markdalpha I’d find a good community to just get around. I just started my community, I got a Discord for it and just tryna create good drivers. I’ll mention it (I don’t expect nothing out of it) but created a small paid private group, made for people looking to take sim drifting more seriously.

You too also sell service based items as well as digital asset based products, so DO NOT act like you're saying this "fOr ThE pEoPLe." You trying to undermine the general public and starting off in that way is extremely back handed and down right scummy. To your first point... group coaching sessions help everyone EVEN THE INTROVERTS. You see, people that will ask questions will ask questions, and the people who are more introverted can simply listen as their comments are more than likely the same. I AM AN INTROVERT. I prefer to be alone, and yet... when I am in a group call setting... Yes, I may not ask questions, but it is still extremely valuable information. Not to mention, if someone has a question they'd rather ask in private, I encourage it. Plus, you mentioning they don't want to talk in a friendly manner? What are you talking about? If any guest were to do that, I would not let them step over people and put them in line or kick them out immediately. The tips and tricks I am giving are from the top 1% of esports drivers, IRL drivers, and professionals who work in the automotive space. Yes, you can get tips and tricks from servers and other places, but you and I both know it can get very confusing as it can be contradicting to one another. So I'd rather have information DIRECTLY FROM THE SOURCE.... The courses within the group are on data (How to analyze your driving to improve your driving), social media (how to have the proper mindset, framing, and ideas of social media and start building a following), and how to get sponsors (I literally give away my pitch deck and email processes). All the 1-1 stuff you mentioned, is what's included in the private community... guidance & help. Thank you.

I did not mean "the people" as a specific community or a group of people. We sell cars and parts separately for a specific price for each one. We don't sell one to one. We offer help from a real life champion as a benefit for supporting the team. There is a massive difference there, we don't sell that as a product. You are trying to sell a product subscription that is built around giving setups, cars and basically access to a group voice chat with you guys and guests and do so while sounding like it is a new unifying community for everyone to join while it is a paid tutoring service. That titleing and description is what causes the issue and not what you guys are trying to sell. Drift community is more unified than ever and any other motorsports community out there which I'm proud of being a part of. Again, nothing against anyone here. I just stated my opinions and concerns about the concept is all.

iRacing is always 60Hz native external output for FFB but around 300Hz internal output that gets into telemetry. The way these brands have extra is by sending a burst of FFB signals in every second that then gets played back, it is causing some latency to the FFB, so it is not perfect. I have watched a review of this feature on Simagic or Simucube with detailed explanations. iRacing definitely needs to change this archaic model across the board to catch up to the competition.

Not gonna lie… very negative and very closed minded. I honestly don’t get how it’s “fucked” in anyway, as I’m trying to do more than just the basic car pack, server, and discord. I have courses within the group giving more info that people usually pay hundreds of dollars for and weekly guests with a live coaching call! Would love to know where you’ve seen this before and how I’m being greedy. I help people all the time for free and give tons of information, and if you ask anyone, they know I don’t gate keep. This is for people who want that extra oomph in their sim experience and 1-1 access.

I'm saying this as someone that works or worked one to one with many FD and DMEC drivers and many more. Group coaching sessions will only help the extrovert people that like to talk in a group environment. The rest will not engage enough to benefit from it. This is already being done in every team or organization discord or even in the public server chats, people give tips and tricks to each other. As you guys know setups are very personal stuff based on cars, rig setups, wheel settings that people use and there is no "right" setup in general. If you guys were to say you will help people make a setup for themselves. Like if someone has an upcoming competition and need a setup that suits them the best. You could guide them based on their feedback in a one to one session -which is also being done by many people- but at least you guys could be one of them. So I am conflicted in this one when it comes to how it will benefit people other than interacting with people they follow and like the content of or the guests you guys might get in a call that may or may not want to talk to them in a friendly manner.

Same, I'm using a TSXW with TCLM atm and upgrading to DD at the end of this year. Not looking for immense power upgrade since my TSXW is already around 6nm, but I rly want more and refined detail. The Alpha Mini is on the top of my list. Probably with the GT NEO wheel and P1000 pedals.

Do you find the actual Simagic Alpha Mini (version 3) much stronger than Moza R9 or nearly the same? I know FFB detail of the Mini is better :)

@@Thorkell_Joms they both definitely feel similar but somagic just feels way more expensive and robust than the moza. strength wise i notice almost not difference but it just feels way smoother than moza. my r9 almost felt like it had a belt in it 💀

The hands off protection helps stabilize the wheel if you let go, but it can get activated when you quickly turn the wheel from side to side (software thinks you let go). it basically kills the FFB response for a short time. The wheel feels numb until it kicks back in when you hold the wheel normally again. I would not really recommend it to stop oscillations during drifting. I have the R12 for a few months and I sometimes quickly jerk the wheel when mad at myself and my performance. it caught me out a few times. It is good to use purely for safety reasons when you let go of the wheel. It should not be relied upon to cover up an issue you have with the wheel behavior in normal use.

I kinda hate fanatec sa purely because of shit implementation of soft lock. You can't adjust it it just goes to the end and goes limp for about 45 degres... So much dead range.... Been posting on their forums about it and they mentioned they were going to implement it for 2 years now but nothing but crickets.... At least with AC is not bad because CSP ffb tweaks but other games sucks ass because hitting that lock is so satisfying.

Yes! I forgot to mention that! The encoder on the alpha mini, alpha, and alpha u are the same! While the encoder for the r16 and r21 are the same. But the r3, r5, r9, and r12 share the same encoder!

R12 is not worth it IMO it loses to competition simagic has better motor with "less clogs" and higher encoder resolution

@@sniperzdb09 higher resolution encoder are probably more expensive That why they went that route so they can give the best value for money Racing Beyond Matter has a video that he compares them and he call them twins Probably most of us in a blind test we couldn't even tell which is which Simagic is already next gen imo. They are the first that they came with such modularity in pedals and their haptics are gamechanger. Combine that with their elastomer combos and they are so good when having the hydraulic kit to have zero elastomer relaxation

Is your Alpha Mini (last version v3) much stronger than the Moza R9? Or nearly the same 9-10nm? And yeah, detail is better on Simagic
