Pretty much a Middle Eastern practice in the past

This is comment about the ad touting Sonosparkle. It talks about a dental tool that supposedly helps remove plaque from your teeth. They talk about laser use to help do the job. There is no laser in this tool. Also the vibrations of the Sonosparkle are really there but not strong enough to effectively remove plaque. I have removed some plaque with a dental type tool that is like a sharp half circle at the end of a stainless metal rod. I have been asked by dental Technicians what procedure I used because they appreciated they would have less work to do since I had effectively removed much of the plaque without tooth damage. But I was younger and didn't have much plaque. My "procedure" was to use some leverage against adjacent teeth to help guide the sharp end against the plaque I was trying to remove. After some practice I was able to apply enough pressure to crack the plaque off in small pieces without stabbing the sharp end into my gums (most of the time). I got better at it. Maybe the Sonosparkle would have worked better with my younger teeth and with weaker plaque. Not so good at my current age with less muscle control and thicker plaque.

Why does this story have two different versons of his first time meeting of the Queen. Stories that keep repeating the scenes get to be boring. So i just skip to the end.

So the queen felt compelled to abide by the terms of a signed agreement that hadn't been signed yet? That makes sense -- NOT! When the marauders attacked, the queen said their ships had a weakness at their rears. So the earth ship fired at them as they were approaching, when the rear would be LEAST exposed, and that supposedly exploited the weakness and turned the tide. Ridiculous.

So at the end of chapter 3 she left with her people, but at the start of chapter 4 they are still waiting for her people to arrive. So this is really a story about temporal dislocation, right?

The speech to text voice ruins all interest and emmersion into the story. It pauses at the worst times and makes pronouncements off putting by being to abrupt or unpronouncable.

You have notable potential as a story-teller/writer. A technical tip or two: 1) You need to improve your voice-to-subtitles translation app. Repeated misspellings of key words ("know" instead of "no", "cavalry" instead of "Kavari", "world instead of "whirled", etc.), and your need to separate chapter titles from body texts (both in voice and in subtitles) helps keep your viewers'/readers' attention. 2) You have a good grasp of eco-sci-fi and of elements of cultural anthropology-based and sociology-based sci-fi, which puts you ahead of many writers. For future reference, check out "The War Against the Rull", by A.E. Van Vogt, once better known as the father of Canadian Sci-Fi, and "For I Am a Jealous People", by Lester Del Rey. Van Vogt had a good sense of eco-sci-fi in his ability to portray alien life forms, both sentient and non, and also a slice of cultural anthropology-based sci-fi in his ability to challenge our sense of ourselves by creating alien societies which embodied our fears of the other (xenophobia), our fears of the unknown (same) and our fears of alien cultures whose values were innately inhuman (projected Earth human paranoia). Del Rey went even further and created a universe in which God Him/Her/Itself was an alien life form of sentient energy whose psychology was suspiciously less advanced than ours, and who, to our surprise and relief, wasn't all-powerful after all. At first all seems lost because God has decided to abandon us and to throw his/her/its weight behind a seemingly unstoppable alien race endowed with flawless marksmanship - but not with the ability to consistently adapt to new weaponry. Once we figure out how to custom-design our nuclear weapons to break through their defenses and annihilate whole alien armies, the odds return to our favor, and with them, a curious development in cultural understanding: We actually defeat God, and in so doing, we add a book to the bible, The Book of Exultations, in which while exulting in our victory over God, we lay down the law for once, and hold God accountable to the bargains he/she/it made with us in the Old Testament, specifically The Book of Exodus, Chapter 20, verses 4-5: "You shall not make any graven image of what is in the Heavens above, or on the Earth below, or on the waters under the Earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I am a jealous God, visiting the guilt of the parents upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of those who reject me." When humanity defeats this fictional God, for once, WE call the shots, and in the fictional but intriguing Book of Exultations, we tell God, "Thou shalt not have any other peoples before me. Thou shalt not choose any other peoples before me. Thou shalt not treasure nor elevate any other peoples before me. Thou shalt not make covenant with any other peoples before me, neither shalt thou make covenant with any other peoples against me, for I am a jealous people!..." Not a bad speculation about a time-honored question raised by a college law student in the film, "The Paper Chase": "Can a contract be made between man and God that is binding to man?" So far, no folkloric nor institutional religion has ever been able to convincingly answer that question because, of course, all folkloric and institutional religions are, by definition, based on various (baseless) superstitions, and in some cases, unconscious tribal bigotries. Since no Earthly religion, whether folkloric or institutional, is completely founded on fact, that fundamental fact of history opens the door for endless speculation, and it's helped fuel much sci-fi speculation on just exactly how advanced some alien civilizations might be, and about just what prejudices alien civilizations might have overcome, or might still harbor relative to us. How you handle these questions, of course, is up to you. Good luck researching and developing your themes. Your writing/story-telling ability definitely shows promise.
