Julie is hard of hearing (very) and relies on powerful hearing aids that best help when there is minimal background noise. As a result, she began taking ASL (American Sign Language) classes at a local adult school evening class. Soon she was joined in those classes by her husband who realized that to continue conversing with his wife he would eventually have to learn sign language. And after two classes ....COVID STRUCK!! Julie continued by becoming self taught. Why such dedication? She knew she had a calling - and was determined to use her loss of hearing, and her new skills in ASL to bring glory to God! Is she perfect at ASL...No! But she is a dedicated servant of the Lord who is determined to use her newfound gift to praise and glorify God and just maybe reach others who may also have difficulty hearing and rely on ASL. Join her on this new adventure as she continues to grow and learnin both the word of our Lord and thus wonderful language "spoken" with the hands!

The song is about Adonai not Yeshua. The cross is an idol. The worship of Yeshua is pagan = polytheism.
Not knowing what your beliefs are, I will share with you that Adonai in Hebrew means "my Lord", Yeshua in Hebrew means "deliverer, to save, to rescue" as in our Savior Jesus Christ. Yeshua is mentioned several times through out the New Testament. Yeshua is not pagan. Feel free to share what your belief is. Every song and every talk I give is strictly bible based. I stand on the foundation of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.

Honestly, I don't remember. I have taken on line classes. There is a guy that teaches sign at Sacramento State and he has online classes. He is also deaf as well as his wife. I can't rem ember his name. But you can probably search for him and find him. He is really good and his classes are easy to follow. It's free.

You have given me such inspiration on this dreary rainy Sunday afternoon. I will be starting a youth choir at our church in late December. We have nobody at our church that is hearing impaired but when Kadie gets up there and signs a song, you can absolutely feel the Holy Spirit moving in people. And, you can tell that God has blessed her with the talent of using ASL. Signing brings the songs to life so I feel sorry for those that have never watched it and felt the way we feel watching Jewelz, Kadie and all the others. Hi Lysa - I'm Russ and I told Jewelz I would respond to this since I post the videos. And it is a great question because it was always my concern as well in the beginning. Once I upload the video, the algorithms used by RUclips start processing everything, and as part of that procedure, RUclips runs a copyright check. Before it posts, it comes back to me with a completed check and usually a short summary. Generally, we are told one of two things. Either it will show some copyright/s but tell us that the terms of the copyright will not impair this from being played (I'm summarizing and not speaking verbatim) or it will come back with certain restrictions that will tell us that the video is not allowed in certain countries. That has happened well less than a dozen times and the countries refusing are usually not accepting of most outside beliefs. We have never (and pray with us that we never) have a copyright infringement that did not let us publish the song. But remember - we are not changing the song or its' message, our biggest goal is to make it accessible for those who are hard of hearing or deaf and those who wish to view and learn from them. And especially...people like you because we absolutely cherish those who suggest songs, provide input, and ask questions!
