You need 1/2 pvc pipe right?

I tried this method and it got harder for me to get mags out. What I did was add a 1.5 mm plate of rigid plastic (just stack and glue 2 bread clips together and cut to size) to the part of the shell the catch gets stuck on. By doing that the edge of the catch wouldn't get caught on the shell and get stuck.

I did the Prime delete tip but I'm not sure what it did? I have the gun back together - it works. I pull back the pump grip (prime it) and then push it forward (now primed right). It's now locked until I fire. I'm not really understanding what that mod does? it seems to act the same as before.

I bought one of these, wouldn't fire a dart AT ALL. A useless piece of plastic. The scope will fir Nerf Rails. It's the only usable piece. I will now assume ANYTHING branded "Ryan" is garbage. Can't stand the little 💩 stain anyways.

Some constructive criticism. It would be great to show the viewers a before and after by shooting at a target or use a chronograph to see how much fps it's putting out. Overall, a good mod tutorial.

Did you know the button on the top rail helps to de-prime the gun. But mainly it is to remove jams. However I just use that button everytime I load up my stryker

I'm a new-to-Nerf dad and purchased the DZ Max Stryker. Owning and firing a lot of real-steel guns I was disappointed in the accuracy with the DZ blaster. I seen this review and got the Worker scar barrel which friction fits perfectly in my blaster. I'm impressed with the difference in the accuracy and only lost a few fps. thx

What kind of epoxy do you use?

Hello, I am currently modding my Nexus pro and I plan to buy a proud papa master key. I see you are using a side rail mount for it since it won't block the optic. I am currently looking for one and I'm wondering which one are you using and where to buy it. Thanks for any assistance.

Is the 1/2 inch referring to the inner or outer diameter? I've got some 1/2 ID pvc pipe, wondering if that will work.

I would definitely recommend replacing the stock aluminium barrel with a 12" 17/32 brass tube, super easy to do and a very noticeable FPS increase 👍 keep it waxed also

Ok, i wasn't planning on moding mine... its already super spicy... But that de-prime lock I will definitely remove! Hated dry firing it to allow me to remove the mag after the fact....

My lemon problem was the internal magazine as I would load it the darts would start to turn vertical. Load by hand or the speed loader.had slow response from DZ to start with but afterwards it was great they replaced it and no issues with the second one so I bought another.👍

Absolutely great video and summary of results. I just bought a nexus pro and want to do an upgraded spring and a scar barrel. since I bought 100 adventure force full length darts I was wondering if the scar barrel from worker would help. I will get the one you tested as a mod for my nexus pro. Thanks for a great review. and thumbs up!!!

I've recently moded my Stryker and Nexus but now I'm getting a problem where when I fire them some of the darts get straight cuts on them causing those ones to stop in the barrel. The other darts fire perfectly fine but I do notice a score imprint on where they would have cut open. Did you have this complication too and if so do you know what could be the issue?

I have a question? I got same half inch pvc pipe and is there supposed to be a gap between the pipe and the thing in the middle of the cap?

On the back of the plunger there is a plastic washer thing and u can put it on backwards to increase the preload of the spring note that is will wear out the spring faster

the lock you removed was one of the first things i dig to my nexus pro. its a much better blaster without this lock. also the epoxy part between dart guide and barrel is very important. i used some tape around the barrel, pressed it in the dart gate, removed it again, put a small drop of superglue (gel) on the tape and put it back together while twisting the barrel for an even seal. i also taped the front of the barrel where it meets the plastic ring in the front, and i wrapped the outside of the ring where it locks into the shell with tape, too. now everything is a snug fit without ANY play. precision is much better now... awesome blasters when using any kind of SCAR or BCAR. personally i use a 3 string 80mm worker scar with the original flash hider (removed the friction fit part and sanded down to friction fit the worker SCAR). now it looks stock but has a ridiculous precision for a dart blaster. another thing i did was extending the push button for the black locking bar directly under the picatinny rail for easy access and dremeled down the 2 huge magazine release levers (the one for full lenght mags is only sticking out of the blaster about 3mm to pull is with a fingernail) on the short dart adapter i dremeled dowm the lever for a total lenght of 1 inch. i also removed the upper notch and spring for the dart zone magazines. now its an easy push with only one spring for a way easier removal of the magazine and cut another hole on the back of the dart zone mag (like on a talon magazine)

when i put my worker scar in the front where the muzzle break usually sits my nexus pro shoots way off to one side - it does not sit straight. now i will try to brass the nexus pro and use a ball bearing rifling barrel adapter

I love this! Great simple gametype and a great excuse to use blasters you might not usually pull out. Not a lot of zombie game variants that work with small groups.
