    I was this close to buying a spacer while I literally have a stick of pvc in the next room. Thanks!

    I can't believe this doesn't have more views. All these people trying to sell fancy 3d printed spacers when this is just as good and its so easy to make multiple spacers to get different fps ranges. Thanks for posting this. Looking forward to more content.

      Yeah. I was looking at buying a spacer, but now I know I can just use some of the pvc I've got lying around! People are tryin to rip us off lol

    I did cut a 1 inch of the 1/2 inch PVC pipe. However, it was too long and I was not able to grip the spring around anything. So I reduced it down to 7/8 inch. I'm going to buy myself chronograph to measure how fast it improved my Blaster. But without a chronograph I can tell that it packs a much bigger punch than before.
    Thanks for the tip.

    • @daddydaughternerf5300
      @daddydaughternerf5300  3 года назад +1

      Glad to hear it worked out. 1 inch is pushing the limits of what the blaster can accept. You should be averaging 30-40 more FPS with the spacer.

  • @TypingWithIsaac

    Is the 1/2 inch referring to the inner or outer diameter? I've got some 1/2 ID pvc pipe, wondering if that will work.

    • @daddydaughternerf5300
      @daddydaughternerf5300  2 года назад

      1/2 inch PVC will probably not work. You can easily check for fit on that.

    • @TypingWithIsaac
      @TypingWithIsaac 2 года назад +1

      @@daddydaughternerf5300 I just checked, it didn't fit. It looks like the outer diameter of the pipe needs to be half inch, not the inner diameter.

    I have a question? I got same half inch pvc pipe and is there supposed to be a gap between the pipe and the thing in the middle of the cap?

    • @daddydaughternerf5300
      @daddydaughternerf5300  2 года назад

      Not 100% sure what you're asking. Should the CPVC be snug around the post in the cap of the Nexus? No, it just fits loosely around it. The CPVC should sit flush on the cap at the back. The spring should sit on top of the CPVC. If I didn't answer your question, let me know and I apologize in advance.

    Great video, but is that really 1/2 pvc?? I have some 1/2 pvc and it doesn't fit in the whole and it doesn't fit as well over the stoppers peg. Or do you mean 1/2 outer diameter?

  • @rykerstoybox

    I never would’ve thought it would be that easy. I have to give this a shot. Not saying I will, but would you mind if I made a similar video for my channel. I will definitely give your channel the credit if I do? One the less I’m going to try this mod out. Thanks so much for sharing. You’ve definitely earned my Sub 💪🏽

      @@daddydaughternerf5300 do I have to use the pipe cutter on the pvc? I know a saw would leave burrs on the ends so I was considering using my miter saw. If that seems dangerous I guess I’ll go to the hardware store to pick up a pipe cutter I’m sure they are inexpensive, your thoughts?

    • @daddydaughternerf5300
      @daddydaughternerf5300  3 года назад +1

      Nah, a saw will work fine. You can sand down the rough edges with some sandpaper or a file. Put the sandpaper on a flat surface and run the pipe over it in a circular pattern to level it out.
