I still believe in Christ but I don't feel it makes sense to call myself a Christian because modern Christianity means a certain thing. It really doesn't simply mean to believe in Jesus Christ like it maybe did at one point. There's a certain way that you have to believe in Him, and a certain way that you have to believe in the Bible and what it says, and I just don't believe that those ideas are all accurate. So to call myself a Christian I feel would be misrepresenting myself to people. I believe in Christ because of what I've felt my whole life about what I believe the core of God and Christ is (that they're heavenly beings who deeply care about and love us and want us to be good to and love each other and will save anyone who just does their best to be a good person, despite what mistakes they make along the way), and that feeling just never goes away, so I feel there must be a reason for it. Other feelings and convictions have come and gone for me, but not that one. But that's my basic belief. I don't feel any book of scripture is fully true or trustworthy, I don't feel sure about what all God's commandments might be, or if there's gonna be a real "last days" to watch out for, what heaven is like, etc. And that kind of thinking isn't accepted by modern Christianity, so for that reason, I'm just not really a "Christian" anymore myself. But I believe in Jesus Christ in the way I feel He has taught me about Himself, personally.

I still love you even though I barely know you. It might be difficult to fathom what's going on in this world with our finite minds. But all that matters is that Jesus loves you even more. No matter if you believe if theirs a God or not, he still loves you.

Asking questions and questioning answers is important. You are sensible and honest. Videos dont have to be all about eye appeal to be good. I have been struggling r with my Christianity for 20 years. Questioning God started suddenly wih my own prolonged suffering and the responses I gpt about it from Christians and Gods Word that just didnt and dont male sense to me in my heart. It is my heart that hurts and has been hurt from my suffering. No longer able to be the person I am who enjoyed so many things and the isolation I was forced to live with for the past 20 years. Why? It is so unnecessary. Having Lyme disease, a disease discovered in 1975 and still doctors claim it doesnt exist? Offer little help? Its cruel and unethical. Call me selfish. All my suffering makes me have a deep sadness for other suffering which seems unnecssary and cruel like sex trafficking, children being raped by their own family member, hunger; starvation, childrem suffering from Lyme and cancer and other painful diseases, on and on and on I could go. A fallen world? It simply became impossible for me to believe in a benevolent God. My current belief is God does whatever He wants and I dont understand it and just have to accept it. But i can no longer go to church nor read the Bible which is errant.

All these videos of deconstructed "Christians" are the same: "God is not like I like it to be, and I never really met Jesus, so I don't know even if He exists and therefore I prefer to put myself above God, and live without God". I understand that false ministries and wrong interpretations of the word of God, had led you to this. But God is real, He manifests in many ways, some more evident than others and those who willingly surrender their will to God's, are the ones who can actually met Jesus. Is not that I believe that Jesus is real you have to be sure that HE does exist and that HE is your savior. If not then you were never a real Christian from the beginning, people or yourself deceive you to believe you knew the Lord. For those who met Jesus had only two choices: follow Him and making Him rule your life, or reject Him and keep living for yourself. if you don't have the Holy Spirit, how can you proclaim yourself to be a pastor? How can you guide people if you don't have the gifts of the Holy Spirit? No, my friend either it was not the time for you to be a pastor, or you were deceived in to belief you were called to do that work. Without the Holy Spirit pastors, prophets, teachers, etc... don't have the support of God. Yo have to be sealed first with the Holy Spirit, in order to work for God. He is the one that give the functions in the body of Christ. I was atheist for almost 30 years, and I can say this because I thought just like you just a couple months ago, but now my eyes are opened, the Lord by mercy brought me to his Church. Showed me that I was wrong my all life, that He does exists, and the way to be saved is to have a close relationship with God. Believing is just the beginning of the path. May the real God show you the right path.

I think if you want to know who God is you should know He sent His only begotten Son to die for All man’s sins. He died for you, because the wages of sin is death in eternal fire. He also puts the Holy Spirit in you to change you for the better. He is a just God, so anything He says that may come across harsh, you don’t know these peoples hearts, or their underlying agendas, God does. Lastly, you don’t have to understand His ways because your ways aren’t His ways, but know that He is just and righteous. He has changed so many lives, including my own for the betterment of my own life and those around me. God is good. I’m praying for you and everyone else to seek Him as your Lord and Savior, because Hell is forever; the Bible prophecies are literally jumping off the pages and coming to pass daily. He is truth, He is the only way, He is the life. Much love brother. 🙏🏻

I believe in divine god who is pure energy we are energy. Everything is within us the truth and the knowledge. Its ones choice on what they want to believe in and what ones truth is. No one can take the truth or your belief from you. I believe in the divine god who saved my daughters life before she was born ,she had cord wrapped round her neck three times. She was a miracle ✨️ I dont believe in the god of this universe fallen world. Why would i when there is so much evilness and suffering . Ive had so much suffering being on this earth plane . Why would a loving god allow it .

God gave people free will then they disobey him and do evil. Stop blaming god for humanities bad choices. I dunno about the "all" parts of this. God doesnt seem all powerful. If god gives you free will then he gives yiu at least some power making him not omnipotent. If he gives you privacy he cant be all knowing. If he operates the way humans do he cant be all loving since humans dont like tacky outfits at the grammys. You people just want to hold one person responsible for everything. You can believe in Evolution and still be a Christian. Genesis is NOT a scientific book. It is talking about a prevailing myth. The problem of evil is a more cpo,plicated issue that is very hard to reconcile.

This world is a place for people to discover. It is not a final place to retire. It is only a half done place to stay. The final place to stay is heaven. God wants us to help build or improve this place. America and the free world countries such as NATO countries etc... are very close to doing what God's will is compared to the places like Russia, Iran China or North Korea etc.... So don't give up help. If this world is perfect then this world is like a paradise and then we don't know what God feels about evil. If you feel that this world is full of evil then you can do your best to help. It is our job to prevent evil as much as you can.

Appreciate the vulnerability about your journey here. I would like to press you regarding your definition of atheism being "lack of belief" or "not believing the claim there is a god". Such a definition seems far too vague in that on that definition a cat, a stone, a chair, a 1 month old baby etc are all atheists i.e they lack a belief a god. Graham Oppy, who I think is the best thinker on atheism from the analytic side has pointed this out and thus accepts that atheism SHOULD be defined as believing there is no god.

Responsibility is not predicated on free will. The most practical things to believe in are things that are true.

Theism.

Prove empiricism can provide objective proof.

Prove love exists.
