So is the texture of the rhizome of kava similar to ginger or ginseng? If so do you think that its more potent because of the way its ground? I say that thinking culinarilly like the difference in flavor and between say a food processor thai curry and a mortor pesel curry. Like how its ground changes how the plants are broken.

I'm in the "kava is just a plant" camp. I know it's sacred for some. That can be said for a lot of things. I absolutely love kava. I think the stuff is incredible, and I enjoy a few shells most nights. My only gripe is just how damn expensive it is!!

Vanuatu is amazing. I thought I was going to be drinking Kava the whole time I was there but only did it twice. One of those times absolutely floored me. From memory there is a reverse tolerance, I had these Kava candies that I was eating most nights for a while before the holiday, only a very very mild effect but I think that was the reason I felt such a strong effect from the Kava in Vanuatu. I felt so light and floaty, my balance was as if I were drunk but my mind was not at all impaired like alcohol would cause. I sat in the back of the ute and was looking at birds and the powerlines and I had double vision but it wasn't a concerning feeling, it's like my eyes were so relaxed they just did there own thing lmao. I wish I had tried it a bit more but I felt like the effects would get in the way of all the stuff we got up too. I asked a couple of the locals how popular Kava was and it was funny because they said weed is actually way more popular, those 2 separate guys gave us weed, too. Didn't ask for money or anything, one said they grow so much in the hills that they just end up sharing it. I'm not sure if the weed was super strong or if it just hit us hard because we hadn't smoked for nearly 2 weeks and our tolerances had dropped massively but smoking on a tropical beach was awesome. A drawback to the Kava, though, was it kind of messed up our guts, well, either it was the kava or possibly the food but that's a downside for sure. Another weird thing is my friend and I felt slightly munted, the same kind of feeling from MDMA, only very slightly, it just had a similar feeling and our pupils were dilated too. I miss that place, the nicest people I have ever met.

So glad I seen this. Years ago I was at a head shop and I seen a new cart called Captain Blast. It said it was Kanna. I had never heard of it but I decided to bite. I wasn't expecting much at all. So I was in the living room with my g-friend at the time and her elderly mom. I decided I'd take a rip off of it. I was instantly rolling hard AF. And the heat flash was insane. I looked over and was like, "Umm.... I ummmm. I need to go downstairs and find this thing." It only lasted about 15 minutes at a time, but wow. I have yet to ever find it again. I tried ordering some extract and it didn't do a thing. I would LOVE to get my hands on some more good Kanna. So THANK YOU!! You are the MAN! Your videos are so informative and on point.
