Hmmm so unless you’re in the program where you are scheduled specific days/times for school, there isn’t a way to guarantee time off for classes. You can put in requests off once you start at your location, but most times CPs don’t get their requests. Just depends on your location and leaders!

I did online classes from my college! They had taken the Disney ones away after COVID, I’m not sure if they have brought them back!

I personally did not experience it - I was so excited to get back to school and my friends here! I miss Disney, but cannot really speak to “post-Disney depression” like some can☺️

I am so scared for that. I will be arriving in August and leaving in January. I'll be coming back to the start of the worse of winter and have to experience it for at least another three months, and then also have nothing to do because I live in a small town, and then go back to school. It's like a completely opposite lifestyle that I am scared I'm gonna feel that.

@@gabriellechouinard3738 I think it has to do with dopamine (stimulation) in the brain, and happens in many situations, both work and vacationers. As long as you know it is normal and goes away, maybe you can view it as a harmless side effect. I suspect anybody who experiences sustained excitement can have it (I did so in a similar manner after working on an Alaskan fishing boat) so Disney guests on RUclips who are only there for a week or two also say they experience it. Think about the amount of information and stimulation your body experiences then switches to a relative calm and lack of that stimulation. I know all of the RUclips CRPers who say they experienced it, which is almost all the YT CRPers, later look back on their Disney experience as something they wouldn’t trade so apparently the “post Disney depression” doesn’t affect long term memories of the experience.

Yes and yes! When you leave the company you need to make sure your costume check out is cleared so you don’t get charged for something you accidentally kept! You can check with costuming on that. And I think it’s $5 for a new name tag - I got a new one bc I wanted my university written differently. You can get extras or order new ones whenever at costuming!

Me too! I won’t go back for at least a year - I accepted a post-grad job in Nashville, TN! But I would consider going back in a leadership or corporate position 🫶🏼🫶🏼

I know! I was so grateful when I learned that I could have mine done! They do have to be one solid color and the same color on all nails, but I usually don’t get designs anyways haha.

It depends on your role! For merchandise you can, but they all have to be the same color, no designs, and can’t be super long. I would wait until you arrive and speak with your leader because rules also vary by location!

Hey! I had my car, but you can easily get around with the CP bus transportation provided. I used it sometimes and it was usually on time. They go to target and a strip mall with other stores which is nice. Also friends with cars will offer to drive you places and carpool. Just offer gas money or Starbucks and people are really nice haha.

Also no, you are expected to know what to do when you arrive at your shift unless it’s an event shift! Even then, you receive instructions when you arrive. They will give you a tour and make sure you’re comfortable at most locations ☺️

Party shifts are actually hard to find! Everyone wants to work them because they're easy and fun! There were a ton of CM only nights in different parks over the summer, and each CM got to pick one, so the shifts were taken very quickly😁

Yeah I couldn’t put my preferences when I applied in 2021, I thought they had changed that. If you start a new application you would be able to tell, you don’t have to finish it and you can drop out of the process at any time! I saw that they just brought back phone interviews as well, which is great! Thank you so much for watching! I still have quite a few videos coming out in the next weeks!

Totally makes sense! It's a really hard decision and you have to plan in advance if you don't want to push back graduation or do classes while on your CP.
