Thank you for the review, I only saw videos in rokoko's channel & thought that coil was perfectly tracking everything and it was a on par with studio level optical mocap rigs. Now I think it's an improvement but not a replacement, good to know, definitely a huge step up mainly because of prop and multiple character interactions.
Yes, you are totally right. Coil Pro wasn’t designed to replace anything but to improve the motion capture of the gloves and suit. Studio level optical equipment are waaaaay more expensive in a point that is not accessible for a lot of small studios or solo artists.

Good video, just a shame the price is so insane, can't justify when the AI mocap stuff has been working so well for me personally.
rokoko is awful, you can see it in this video 4:05 - body shaking when in real life no shakes, considering body is the heaviest part of the human, it instantly makes it look fake 4:26 - awful center of gravity 5:45 - look at left arm in mocap... and I've seen rokoko walks - awful...

do you know ifCoil Pro works with Smart Suit pro 1?
I can't say for sure because I tested with the Smart Suit 2, but you must have the gloves. Coil Pro only connects with the Smartgloves, so if I have to guess, I believe it works. You'd better check with Rokoko support to be sure.

Well, unfortunately not as a game. This is simply a homage to the original game which I enjoyed a lot as a kid. But in the other hand I have some ideas for an other animation using this character.I also share some people feelings about having an actual remake of this game. It would be awesome.

The original Chakan.... though a hard game, is totally bad ass. It feels like a darker version of Magician Lord. Such an awesome game. And this looks fuckin sick. If this has any shot at being a game... it should happen.

While this is cool, it's a bit of CG, it's not a workable game design document for a new game. We don't need another kickstarter based on a tiny bit of CG with no actual gameplay/a working plan to make an actual game.
I remember playing on the plug n play sega genesis around 2016 those were simpler times
